Perfect time to introduce Coach Kevin šŸ«”šŸ†
Allow me to formally introduce one of our BBB 1on1 coaches, @Kevin Teachanarong šŸ”„ He just competed in his first BJJ tournament and struck GOLD. And I remember our first conversation (with Coach @Tyler Lo too, who’s taking a break after a knee procedure) about joining Jiu Jitsu about a year ago — like, ā€œYaaa, I don’t know. I’ll just give it a go and see what happensā€. Dude has been so consistent and disciplined ever since. And for the first time in his life, he got the taste of REAL competition. Literally another grown ass man trying to choke you out 😌 That feeling of adrenaline, fear, uncertainty — that’s a feeling not everyone gets to feel in their lifetime unless they do something really hard. And ā€œhardā€ looks different for everyone. I met Kevin at my restaurant years back. We shared common interests like lifting weights and getting swoll šŸ˜† I felt so much synergy that it was a no-brainer for me to ask him to join my coaching team. He’s helped over a hundred busy professionals achieve amazing body transformations, including @Valerie Frey and @Jennifer Crafton in this community. Yay to first full hour at the gym!
Work has been crazy since the year started. And today is my first full hour at the gym! In the last 5 weeks, my gym session is literally 15 minutes of failure sets or 30 minutes of supersets. Today is such a luxury.

Adapt....don't quit!
After picking up shoulder/rotator pain last week, I still showed up to the gym. I trained smarter — lower weights, higher reps. I don’t believe in completely stopping movement unless it’s truly serious (I’m not a doctor, and I’ll wait for @Darren Liu to advise), but for me it’s about adapting, not quitting. Today’s session: • Shoulder press – 10kg • Lat pulldowns – worked up to 65kg (starting at 20kg and building up) • Barbell back squats – 10kg with a neck cushion • Goblet squats • Air bike • SkiErg • Double planks • Mountain climbers Physio on Saturday, but I’m proud I didn’t give in to that voice that said, ā€œIt’s cold, your shoulder hurts, stay home.ā€ Progress isn’t about being pain-free or perfect — it’s about being willing to adjust and still show up. ✨ What would change for you if you chose progress over excuses today?
10 minute rule
Something I learned from BBB coach Carlos.. our 10 minute rule.. we start the exercise (sometimes with lack of motivation) but we agree to do at least five or ten minutes.. when you notice you already made half an hour šŸ˜€ Let’s go šŸ’Ŗ
