My journey this far…
Hey friend Here is a review of what my goals were when I decided that I had enough of all the excuses and I was going to start and do something about myself. In June I was 180lbs(81.65kg) I felt gross, didn’t have energy to do anything and was getting really depressed. I decided after many videos from Darren that I was going to reach out and I’m so glad I did. My main goal was to loose 40 lbs and be 140 in 6 months. I also wanted to build muscle because I didn’t want to be just a smaller version of myself. I wanted to be healthier so I could be there for my family. I started tracking my meals and drinking water everyday. I also went for walks at least 7K a day. I started doing workouts 3 times a week. The hardest part for me was getting my 7 to 8 hours of sleep. I had to be accountable for myself, my actions or lack there of. If things were not working it was probably because I was not listening. I’m 6 months I lost the 40 lbs and more and I’m working on building muscles and dropping body fat. I would love to get a professional photo shoot when I’m happy with my results. It would be a reminder of my achievements.

Eggs
Ok here we go. Let's talk about all the eggs I am eating right now. Eggs used to be bad for your health, than good because the cholesterol was not used by the body, at least not entirely, and then this year official guidelines in Germany changed again and one eggs per day is no longer advised. We should eat less, they say. But even ignoring this ... looking for protein rich food-ideas for breakfast and dinner I can easily get to 4 eggs a day and this just feels wrong to me. So I substitute every second egg with just the egg-white. What are your thoughts and strategies on that?

I eat eggs religiously every single day. I go in for my annual check up and my cholesterol is fine. I eat 1 egg, 200 gr of eggwhites, add 100 gr of water. I steam for 20 minutes and enjoy. It comes out silky. If you want more protein add chicken broth and not water. It keeps me super full for breakfast. Anything over consumed is not good like what Coach @Darren Liu mentioned in one of his post and staying in a calorie deficit is 🔑
Holidays are here - Restaurant game plan
Question for everyone! My holiday social calendar is packed with food outings basically til second week of 2026! When I eat out, should I … (A) keep it simple (protein + veg) or (B) enjoy what I want but cap it (1 plate + 1 treat)? Which is more sustainable? Feedback welcome below! 👇

@Darren Liu thank you Coach for your kind words. I learn from trial and error. It gets better each time. This community and BBB program really challenge me with my mindset growth. Finding the balance and empowered to the choices I make confidently.

@Darren Liu 😂
Let’s talk … Supplements 💊
There are so many supplements! Am I taking enough? What do I need? What’s a nice to have? With all the influencers on social media, they could just be endorsing brands with their “paid ads”. Now I know I have to take a multivitamin. I need Vitamin D and Calcium because I’m located in Chicagoland area… What other drugs do I need to pop?! 😝

What supplements I take is what works for me and my condition. I take collagen to help me with my joint pains doing HIIT, tumeric for inflammation, Vitamin K2+D3 for muscle recovery recommended from my PCP, Fish oil, Apple Pectin for fiber gut health

@Matthias Müller and Coach @Darren Liu I agree with you that you can get it from natural resource and if blood levels are low and supplements can support that temporarily. I am guilty with also being brainwashed with all the supplements that are needed. Joining the program Coach @Darren Liu helped me saved $80 from taking unnecessary amino acids. Saved that money to buy grass fed beef. If collagen is not needed I’ll save another $115 and buy more Whole Foods to eat. I am looking forward to the Collagen Townhall knowledge share.
Lauren Pahati Sarceda - Naperville, Illinois (U.S.)
Hi 👋 Everyone! My name is Lauren Pahati Sarceda. I’m a…..Wife 💍 | Mom of 2 💙🩷 | Grad student 📚 | QMS Manager 💻 | Pickleballer 🏓🥒 | Cantor 🎶 | Pilates lover 🧘‍♀️ | Travel bug 🌎 | K-drama fan 💜 | Foodie 🥢 📍Naperville In a nutshell: I grew up living for sports—volleyball was my first love, then lacrosse… and yes, I have to shout out the pom poms era: senior city champs, baby (glory days 😄). Fast forward: met a boy, got married, had two kids—and had gestational diabetes with both. After pregnancy, I didn’t get my health where it needed to be (A1C hit 6.5), became diabetic, and I didn’t lose the baby weight. I made progress and dropped 30 lbs, but then hit a plateau and slipped back into old habits. Joining this community flipped the switch for me and reignited my fat-loss momentum. Since October I’m down about 17 lbs, and the best part: my labs are the strongest they’ve ever been—A1C at an all-time low of 5.2 and cholesterol/labs all in the normal range. Feeling proud, motivated, and ready to keep going! 💪✨
