I've been reading up on Buddhism a lot lately...
And I recently came across a Buddhist story that's over 2,500 years old. A king couldn't control his habit of overeating rice. The Buddha didn't put him on a diet. He didn't shame him. He didn't tell him to use more willpower. Instead, he gave him a simple phrase to repeat before every meal. That tiny interruption changed the king's life. The more I thought about it, the more I realized: This isn't really a story about rice. It's about why most people fail to change. We try to rely on motivation. We create extreme rules. We think we need more discipline. But lasting change often comes from something much smaller: A pause. A reminder. A moment of awareness before the habit takes over. I made a short video breaking down the story and how it connects to modern habit psychology and sustainable fat loss. Comment RICE below and I'll DM it to you.

Helping Busy Dad's Hits Home For Me 🥰
I want to give a shoutout to one of my clients for a second. Runs two businesses. Young kids. Stressed. Felt like he living at 20% of his potential before coming to me. We didn't need any dramatic speeches for this guy. He didn't need praise. He just quietly did the work. The most important thing about Eddy's success is that he was ADAPTABLE when life got busy. That's how he could sustain such a dramatic body transformation. He just keep rolling. Just a grown adult handling business consistently. I think social media has convinced people that progress is supposed to look loud. But most of the strongest, healthiest people I know are actually pretty boring with their habits. They just do what needs to be done… over and over again. And eventually people start noticing the results. I met him in Shanghai last year and he was so excited about his future with his new lifestyle. He told me his relationship with his wife also made a 180 in the right direction. Gotta love it! If you're stuck, I'm a DM away 💪 Shoutout Coach @Kevin Teachanarong

Tingeling feeling..
So... a question.. After a while walking/running I get this tingeling feeling in my hands and feet as if the body parts doesn't get enough oxygen (nothing new though). Adding to that, they get swollen as if the lymfatic system is mal functioning. It probably is, right? Is it a normal feeling until I get more used to running? I have never got passed that..

Weight loss at work
At work I have the opportunity to discuss weight loss on a daily basis with my patients. This gives me the opportunity to reinforce the knowledge that I have learned here at BBB. I discuss diet with 80-90% nutritious food (not wanting to lable food good or bad) and 10% "adult snacks". I talk about focusing on protein and fiber first. I discuss consistency vs perfection and making small changes over time. This helps reinforce my knowledge. Unfortuanately, many of my patients are not interested in making these changes and want to discuss a quick fix and medications to do the work for them. I had an experience with a patient a couple of weeks ago that has stuck with me. A women came in to see me because she was going to go on vacation and wanted to take medication to controll her appetite. She stated "I am not able to control what I eat so you need to give me mediation to do this." I attempted to talk about how to be successful on vacation and still enjoy it at the same time. She simply stated that she is not willing to make any changes and cannot control what she eats and that it was my responsibility to do so. I was a little taken back. I finally told her that I could prescribe medication, but that I cannot control what she puts in her mouth and only she can do that. I want to say to everyone here that you are all doing the right things. Being here is the first step. Everything that you learn and improve will stay with you and help with your success and to be able to reach your goals. Everyone here is on the right track. So glad you are all here and and keep up all of the hard work! It is worth it!
