Feeling like a zombie 🧟
I went to bed early on Monday knowing the q&a is early Tuesday. Sadly it’s that time of month and I woke up in the middle of the night with pain unable to fall back asleep. 😩 Up until last year, having only 2-4 hours of sleep didn’t matter much. But now my body is really attached to have at least 6-7 hours each night. Iβ€˜m thankful though to have adapted my sleep schedule since Iβ€˜m way more productive during daytime. So today will just be a day were I drag myself from schooling for my new job, to meeting with a friend (can’t wait to see her again after a long time😍) and back to uni classes tonight. Not every day is perfect and I know my tricks to get through this but I still pray to survive the day πŸ™πŸ€£ Hope your Tuesday passes smoothly! πŸ’•

My internal monologue while running a 5k on the treadmill: Ok, I've got this. Actually, this sucks ass. I'll just run for a mile. Why is this so awful? I'm still going. May as well hit two miles. That will be enough for me to feel accomplished. Wow it's hard to breathe. Why am I here? *Imagines I'm with Darren's running group in Thailand and I can't stop running or I'll look like a little bitch in front of all those hot people* Made it two miles and I can't feel my legs. If you only have 5 to 10 pounds to lose, you may not need a drastic calorie cut. You may just need a body recomp. So.. found this quote today scrolling. My cousin works at the only ikea museum there are in the world and she shared this quote from the founder of IKEA.. "Only the one who sleeps, makes no mistakes" (Sleep in the right way, should still be our priority, right, but not to avoid mistakes! Doing nothing doesn't help - life lesson learned) I make several and the habits often wins but it is still a reminder that we are going to do new mistakes when we are awake doing things. It doesn't have to be perfect, but we learn on our way.. Edit: HA!! Only words in a text can be interpreted in diferent ways, right?! Before today, I read the quote and thought that if we sleep, "doing nothing" we don't live our lifes fully. But if we are awake, living, we are always going to do mistakes. And that is fine while learning and making progress.. Now, when I read the quote I thought about it diferently and here's the thought for tonight: Get your sleep in and you'll make less mistakes!! I love quotes @Γ…sa Latorre I took it as when your awake your trying and actively doing things therefore the chance of mistakes are higher and if you do nothing at all you don't make any mistakes. It's not necessarily a good thing as we all learn from mistakes and the most successful people have made lots of mistakes before failing.

Ingredients: - 1 Fairlife Elite Strawberry Shake - 2 tbsp chia seeds - 122 gr Strawberries πŸ“ - 80 gr Blueberries 🫐 - Optional: crushed ice - Optional for creamier texture: Β½ cup heavy whipping cream or a splash of milk How to make it: Mix the chia seeds with the Fairlife Elite Strawberry Shake and let it sit overnight so the chia seeds can expand and give that sago-style texture. The next day, add chopped strawberries and blueberries. I didn’t have room in my cup for crushed ice, but you can definitely add it for this hot weather!
