You ate the vegetables. You drank some water. You shared the pasta. You are WAY more likely to say no to the bread or more naturally inclined to eat less of it. Both ways will help you manage your calories better at social meals. Allow me to formally introduce one of our BBB 1on1 coaches, @Kevin Teachanarong šŸ”„ He just competed in his first BJJ tournament and struck GOLD. And I remember our first conversation (with Coach @Tyler Lo too, who’s taking a break after a knee procedure) about joining Jiu Jitsu about a year ago — like, ā€œYaaa, I don’t know. I’ll just give it a go and see what happensā€. Dude has been so consistent and disciplined ever since. And for the first time in his life, he got the taste of REAL competition. Literally another grown ass man trying to choke you out 😌 That feeling of adrenaline, fear, uncertainty — that’s a feeling not everyone gets to feel in their lifetime unless they do something really hard. And ā€œhardā€ looks different for everyone. I met Kevin at my restaurant years back. We shared common interests like lifting weights and getting swoll šŸ˜† I felt so much synergy that it was a no-brainer for me to ask him to join my coaching team. He’s helped over a hundred busy professionals achieve amazing body transformations, including @Valerie Frey and @Jennifer Crafton in this community. Lost 3kg šŸŽ‰
After what felt like a whole month of consistency (with a few weekend hiccups), I noticed I wasn’t losing much… and I was constantly feeling bloated, especially after having dairy. So I decided to cut it out — and WOW, what a difference it’s made! This week I focused on staying consistent: āœ”ļø hitting my protein āœ”ļø working towards my step goal (not perfect, but better) āœ”ļø prioritising fibre āœ”ļø and making my weekends look more like my weekdays I’m so proud to say I’m down 3kg! šŸŽ‰ Thank you so much to everyone for the support and tips, and a special shoutout to @Darren Liu for helping me with weekend strategies — they really worked. Could I do things differently? Absolutely. I need to improve my fibre intake and make sure I’m consistently hitting the levels I need, so this week I’ll be planning in more fibre-dense foods. I also want to move more on the weekends: šŸ‹ļøā€ā™€ļø Gym on Saturdays is now in the calendar šŸ‘Ÿ At least 30 minutes on the treadmill after šŸ’ƒ And Just Dance with my daughter (because she always asks me to) I also want my three main meals to look more wholesome, so I’ll be adding more veggies to each one. I’m feeling motivated, proud, and ready for this next week. Let’s go! šŸ’ŖāœØ
