Here is a fragrance that my opinion has changed over time. First time I hated it, was. 2/10. The next sampling it somewhat grew on me so much so it reached a 6/10. And now I'm a responsible owner of a full bottle. Yes it wears well, despite claims that it's a dupe of Althair it most certainly is not. For me this is more a Gourmand that adds its own creamy, lactonic twist that leans into the "crÚme brûlée" dessert theme. Brûlée is a complex, sugary, and airy fragrance that moves from a citrusy opening to a dense, edible heart. The opening is a burst of burnt sugar and caramel tempered by the zest of bergamot and a hint of spicy cardamom. As it settles, the "lactonic" (milky) quality emerges, making it smell like a luxury pastry shop. The chocolate and milk notes create a smooth, velvety texture, while the incense in the heart prevents it from becoming "juvenile" sweet, adding a layer of sophisticated mystery. The dry down of Brûlée by Ahmed Al Maghribi is where the fragrance transforms from a loud, sugary dessert into a sophisticated, velvety "second skin." This is achieved with a combo of White Musk, Ambroxan, Tonka Bean and Woods. Because of the heavy concentration of Tonka Bean and Ambroxan, the base notes are strong enough to survive a workout or a long night out, often still smelling fresh on clothes the next morning. This stuff will easily get you 6+hrs on skin, it will hold on to your clothes for even longer, just be carefully, it is an extrait, which contains a higher % of oils which I've noticed can leave a film on the skin so might not be safe for say your good white shirt? It projects outward significantly before settling into a dense scent bubble. If you enjoy scents like Bianco Latte or Althaïr, this will be right up your alley. My Rating: 7/10 Scent: 2 Longevity: 2 Sillage:2 Y/N: 1

Getting off my chest
I won't go into details and this is not to post to point fingers at individuals or put anyone in blast. I am not good with conveying my thoughts so here I will try. Also trying to be vague just to make a generalized comment. We all join this community for our own personal reasons, learn, teach, or just plane relax and enjoy the hobby. I am of the latter. I have a full time job with a fair amount of responsibilities and a business on the side in which small business depend on me. So BoS is my getaway. I like to read people's post, chime in whenever and a lot of you are the same way. Some of you are here to get educated and I am all for that too. I know some of you want BoS to be more than just a post and like board, a place of education to further the knowledge in the community and hold their own standards, but we can't expect everyone to adhere to those standards although some of us try. A part of education is also people having to have some accountable and do a search for information, be surprised on how much info is out there and has been repeated many times. For those who need or want the education, there has to be some some level of accountability for self education. I use the search function to look for my old posts, other people posts for info etc. I know this may be confusing for some since I didn't give any context, I do apologize for that, but again this is not to call people out, just a statement if we are all here for different reasons and be respectful of that.
