HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANTONIO CENTENO
Seville orange (perfume oil)
Good day gentlemen. I thought I already posted this morning, but couldn’t find it. I did one drop of this perfume oil on my wrist touch my wrist together applied my wrist to the back of my neck and applied the wrists to the back of the hand so far nine hours in. I’m still getting some of it. It’s not a beast of a projection, but it’s a nice close fragrance. I think it’s designed for layering but if you like orange fragrances like I do and it’s perfect just by itself I recommend it. I got it from a rack store for a decent price.

SOTD 5 day summary
Good afternoon Fragrance Family I didn't get a chance to post this weekend so here's a summary of Friday - Today's scent choices. Friday- BTSO ;Drunk Lovers- I always rave about this one when I get the chance. It's in my top ten in my collection and every time I wear it I remember the first day I smelled this. Berries, cognac, citruses, pepper, ginger sage cypress, sandalwood, cedar, amber, vanilla, cardamom, patchouli, cinnamon....and more blended to perfection. Other than the berries in the opening nothing stands out from the rest too much. Some have mentioned longevity issues but I've experienced a solid 3 hours of projection, 3 with a respectable bubble with the remainder sitting closer to the skin(8 hours total). I highly recommend a sample. Saturday -Xerjoff;Shunkoin- I would describe this as unisex. It has a powdery feel that's more masculine surrounded by sandalwood, orris, tea, vanilla, woody notes olibanum and cherry blossom. This is a alluring adults only scent in my opinion. Longevity 10+ hours on my skin but not a projection beast. A sultry sillage would be a better description. Sunday- Paris Corner ;Kahella Platinum- This is a solid clone of Le Beau Parfum. I bought this as a backup to my Le Beau EDT but I reach for this more often in a attempt to preserve the OG. This has zero coconut in the notes but they have somehow managed to fully capture the Le Beau DNA with mint, bergamot, lemon, lavender, Orange blossom, cardamom, vanilla, tonka bean and amber. Longevity 10+ hours with decent sillage but doesn't project like the OG. Monday-Creed; Original Vetiver- My favorite vetiver in my collection Creed did a solid job here. Citrusy, musky and a little earthy. Incredible longevity for a Creed fragrance. 16+ hours. I still could smell this on me the following morning 😲. Tuesday-Givenchy Gentlemen Boise- The only gentlemen in my collection and proud to have this one. This is sooo good and unique. Warm and smooth like suede with a beautiful cocao note. Your notes here are black pepper, geranium and coriander. Mid iris, cocao pod and cedar. The base sandalwood, woody notes and patchouli. Longevity here is another 8+ with average sillage and average projection.

ALL GREAT STUFF My friend Jeffrey thanks ✅😎
Bal D'Afrique by Byredo
As I kicked off my week, I decided to sample my 10 ml miniature of Bal D'Afrique by Byredo. Here's my take after a day of wear. Upon the initial spritz, I was greeted with a refreshing blend of citrusy and light sweetness combined with a hint of floral notes. The opening is vibrant and lively—perfect for those hot days when you want to keep things light. However, after about five minutes, I began to detect a woody and slightly musky undertone that mingled with the initial florals. Unfortunately, the performance of this fragrance left much to be desired. I could appreciate its presence in the air for the first 20 minutes, but after that, I had to bring my arm to my nose just to pick it up. By the two-hour mark, it had completely vanished. Overall, I have to say the longevity is disappointing; I was not particularly impressed. On the bright side, Bal D'Afrique does possess a clean and pleasant scent. It would make a suitable choice for an office setting, especially in workplaces that lean towards more subtle fragrances. However, I personally find it a bit too simple and soft for my taste. Interestingly, my wife really enjoys it and it seems to work wonderfully with her skin chemistry, which I can appreciate. The scent definitely has a professional and understated quality to it. If you're someone who appreciates a clean and subtle aroma, you might find this fragrance to be a great fit. For me, though, it's too faint to be a go-to scent, so I'll stick with my small bottle and won't be pursuing a full-size version.
