Pardon my amateur review of my scent of the day. Someday I’ll be able to write a more appropriate review. So I was able to get my hands on a Xerjoff Naxos and all I can say is WOW! Everything about this fragrance is an experience! From the packaging and opening to the spray. This fragrance just screams class and I haven’t even gotten to the juice yet! First off, the presentation case is nicer than some that I’ve gotten with expensive watches! It’s clear Xerjoff intends for this to be a higher end product! The paper that wraps around the juice reminds you this isn’t just any old fragrance. Now onto the juice…never before has a fragrance (or anything for that matter) ever stopped me in my tracks and just make me feel like I just jumped into a higher social class. The honey and citrus top notes just exude smoothness and balance! The scent is sweet but elegant! The tobacco soon comes out and balances the sweetness while also highlighting the masculine tones of the fragrance. This is definitely a scent that screams “wear me when you wanna feel like a million bucks”! I wouldn’t want to wear this daily and get sick or tired of it but I will definitely look for any occasion to put this on! I put the fragrance on around 1pm and sitting here at midnight I can still smell the scent on my skin. The dry down has caused the tobacco notes to take center stage but with a citrus undertone that reminds you of some sort of flavored pipe tobacco. This conjures images of an old English Gentleman in a velvet coat sitting in a smoking parlour with a nice drink in one hand and his pipe in the other. This is just one amateur fragrance enthusiast observation but I certainly did not expect a fragrance to have this kind of experience! It’s kinda hard to top this but I am certainly looking forward to getting my nose on more Xerjoff Fragrances! Cheers yall.

Here is another decant that turned into a full bottle. Whilst its nothing that will blow you away, its a solid performer in the edt range. For anyone whom hasnt crossed paths with this one its a nice spicey/woody/leather fragrance. Comes in that classic gold bar bottle design. The opening is a fresh, spicy, citrusy mix. You'll immediately notice the bright, juicy notes of blood mandarin, grapefruit, with just a hint of sharp peppermint. This initial burst is what gives the fragrance a vibrant, almost effervescent quality. As the scent develops, it moves into that warm & spicier territory. Cinnamon is a dominant note here, providing a sweet, spicy warmth. This is balanced with a subtle floral touch of rose, which adds a touch of depth. The dry-down is where the fragrance gets its signature richness & longevity. The base is composed of a distinctive leather accord, which is both smooth & masculine. This is complemented by notes of amber & patchouli, which add an earthy long-lasting finish. One of the defining characteristics of 1 Million EDT is its impressive performance. It has excellent staying power, lasting a good 6 hours on the skin. The projection, is also very strong. It's designed to be a "power frag" that can be detected from a distance, making it ideal for situations where you want to be noticed. However, this powerful sillage is also a reason it can be considered overwhelming in certain settings, like an office. I guess the amount of flankers it has produce attest to its popularity. Hard to believe, I was 10 when this first hit the shelves. Launched back in 1986, from the nose of Robert Slattery. This was an 80's powerhouse, a classic that brings back so manyemories. It was the first fragrance that I ever bought. The fact that it's still available today speaks volumes and I would be of the opinion, that this was Calvin Klein's best ever release.Its a warm, spicy & amber-laden fragrance. Bursting with that old school masculinity thats seems to have disappeared lately? Ok so im sure its gone through a number of reformulations & owners over the years. .A dose of the 80's in a bottle with this Oriental/Woody fragrance. It’s known for being dense, resinous, and thick. The opening hits you with a sharp, herbal citrus burst of Bergamot, Lime, and Mandarin, immediately followed by a heavy dose of Cinnamon. It feels warm and slightly fizzy. As the citrus fades, the heart becomes more aromatic. You’ll detect Sage, Lavender, and Myrrh. Then there is that distinctive barbershop soap quality, but it comes across as darker and more exotic due to the addition of nutmeg and pine. A common theme with fragrances that appeal to me is the dry down. This is where Obsession resides. It settles into a creamy, smoky blend of Amber, Vanilla, Sandalwood, and Musk. There is also a slight animalic civetone that gives it a manly edge. Despite the numerous reformulations over the years, This edt still packs a mighty punch, last time I broke this out I got a good 7hrs wear from my usual spray routine. Bear in mind though, this is strong stuff you get extremely good projection for the first 2hrs and can easily go lood a room if over applied. No one wants that scent bubble that wipes out everything in its path right. Again, this is perfect for the cold weather and night time wear. Despite the release of a night version. Best suited for date nights, evening events, or cold outdoor days. Whilst it may not make my top shelf these days, it still has a special place for me and the score reflects its position in my collection.
