I looked these up early on because my daughter made fun of how I pronounced Yves Saint Laurent

@Tim Nicklis Im sure if we're honest we all had that 'one' at some time
SOTD - GNTonic M Mallul
After seeing it pop up in several posts here, I decided to pull out my decant and give it a wear today. I have a wedding out in San Antonio, and it's rather warm and humid, so having something fresh and sparkly feels like a good idea. I have to be honest, my feelings on this are mixed. I'm not sure I like it as much this time around as I did when I wore it last summer. There's something synthetic that's getting in the way of the fragrance for me, and I'm not sure if it's just that my nose has evolved a bit, or if I just need to give it a little more time. We will see.

Its cool, and at the same time it sucks, how our noses evolve.
SOTD: Acqua di Giò EDT by Armani 21/06/2026
I’ll start by saying aquatics were never really my thing, but lately with the warmer weather, I’ve found myself appreciating this style more, Another scorcher here for fathers day, so a day out with the kids has me reaching for this edt again. Acqua di Giò has definitely grown on me. It’s widely considered the granddad of the aromatic aquatic genre, launched back in 1996 and composed by legendary perfumer Alberto Morillas. The whole idea behind it was inspired by the raw, sunbaked landscape of Pantelleria, that rugged Mediterranean island between Sicily and Tunisia. I picked up the big 200ml bottle for a bargain, and being an EDT, I knew I could be generous with sprays without overdoing it. This original formula is really well balanced, no sharp edges or cheap sweetness. It opens bright and zesty with Calabrian bergamot, neroli, and green tangerine — instantly fresh and energising. After 15–20 minutes, that citrus fades back and the heart comes through: its famous marine accord, mixed with soft jasmine and freesia, plus a touch of rosemary and nutmeg that stops it from feeling flat. That salty, sea-air vibe is exactly what defines it. By the time it settles fully, you’re left with a dry-down of cedarwood, patchouli, white musk, and a hint of oakmoss — just enough warmth and earthiness to stop it from feeling too thin or soapy. Performance-wise, it does exactly what it promises for an EDT. Projection is moderate and the sillage is polite — never cloying, never annoying to people nearby, which makes it ideal for offices or busy spaces. On skin, you’ll get around 3–4 hours before it softens to a skin scent; if you want it going all day, a quick top-up at lunchtime is needed. It shines best in spring and summer, especially when it’s warm — the heat brings out those citrus and marine notes perfectly. For me, it’s the ultimate no-fuss daytime scent: great for walks, days out with the kids, work, or just feeling clean and put-together when the weather’s hot. My Rating 7/10

Own it, will always own it, and love it

To a degree, I agree but it comes down to cost. If it's something I really enjoy, but it lasts 30-60 min and costs $400 I won't ever purchase it. However, if I love a fragrance, and its not cost prohibitive, I'll just respray.
Uniquee Luxury Ferocious Leather
What Tom Ford Ombré Leather wants to be when it grows up. Most citizens of FragVille know the Turkish house of Uniquee Luxury and its Amouage-level quality and longevity. A gorgeous smooth leather veneer covers an animalic and almost ferocious base. It’s almost Ombré Leather on top and Orto Parisi Cuoium underneath. The spices and patchouli and vetiver and a number of other accords round out Chypre Toscano. Massive longevity and sillage.

This is new to me. Sounds pretty good, if not kind of challenging
