Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Green Stravaganza Valentino for men
Good morning gentlemen. I wasn’t sure what I was in the mood for this morning so I grabbed this. It’s middle of the road not too much of anything simple breakdown. I would say good for any occasion.

I love this fragrance. Been my go to spring fragrance.
SOTD: Kenneth Cole Black
Kenneth Cole Black is one of those underrated early-2000s designer fragrances that still holds up surprisingly well. Released in 2003 and created by Harry Fremont and Sabine De Tscharner, it opens with mandarin orange, ginger, basil, and mint before settling into incense, nutmeg, cedar, suede, and musk. What I’ve always liked about it is the slightly dark, spicy vibe underneath the fresh opening. It has that clean “night out” designer style from its era, but the incense and suede give it more character than a lot of the loud aquatic fragrances. Smooth, masculine, and easy to wear without smelling generic. Best suited for evenings, cooler weather, casual dinners, or just relaxed everyday wear. Performance isn’t nuclear by modern standards, but for the price it’s still a really solid grab if you enjoy slightly spicy woody fragrances with a subtle smoky edge.

I bought this when it was new. Had it for well over a decade. I recently tested it and I thought it smelled awful. It was so strong and synthetic. I’m wondering if having it so long affected the scent because I did like it when I originally bought it. It definitely didn’t seem like a fresh fragrance when I tried it again recently.
Temp or clothes
So I know that there are summer fragrances and winter fragrances due to the notes and the outside temp. However, this week is supposed to be hot but I will still be wearing a suit to work. I feel like my lighter summer fragrances just can’t project through a suit. Would I be ok still wearing slightly heavier fragrances? Which affects the fragrance more the temp or your clothes?

@Lon Chaneyfield I hear you with the search bar. But if you’re not typing something incredibly specific it doesn’t get results. That’s why I ask the questions.
Sotd: Eros Energy
With my job transition complete its my first day at the new work place. Quite different from what im used to but its refreshing to say the least. Thought id bring some energy on this sunny day by wearing this one. Bright, citrusy and mass appealing. Great pick for the price.

@Calvin Ng wait he didn’t say anything about smelling like other guys. I think that smelling like other guys is overhyped. Even the most mass appealing and popular scents are most likely not being worn by people you’re coming into contact with daily.
SOTD: YSL Tuxedo Sharp Patchouli
This is a sample that I thought was going to be the OG Tuxedo, but nope, I ordered the wrong one. And it's really more of a cool-weather fragrance. YSL Tuxedo Sharp Patchouli is one of the best examples of a modern “dressed up” fragrance done right. Released in 2015 as part of the Le Vestiaire des Parfums line and created by Juliette Karagueuzoglou, it opens with violet leaf, bergamot, and coriander before moving into a spicy floral heart with rose and black pepper. The base is where the magic happens: patchouli, ambergris, and bourbon vanilla. What makes Tuxedo special is the balance. The patchouli is earthy and smoky, but it’s polished instead of dirty, and the vanilla smooths everything out without turning sweet. It smells refined, confident, and expensive without screaming for attention. This is absolutely an evening fragrance for me — dinners, date nights, formal events, cooler weather, or anytime you want to smell elegant without going old-school barbershop. Performance is excellent too. One of those fragrances where you keep catching little waves of it hours later.
