Well guess I am starting my Amouage journey now. Its almost like I am a grown up in the frag community. Also trying a new house called L’Atelier with this new one called Zeste d’Orange and Oud. Sounded incredible.

After reading some posts about the D&G The One EDP and how nice it was, I had to acquire it. I first checked in the stores for the scent prior to pulling the trigger, so It wasn't a complete blind buy. I then found on Maxaroma.com a nice deal that I couldn't pass up. So I got me a 3.4oz/100ml for $59. It came in today and just one spray and I was loving it, especially when it dries down to a mellow scent of cedar and amber. Masculine and spicy at the beginning but sophisticated with a grapefruit opening. - Top notes: Grapefruit, basil, and coriander create a fresh, spicy opening. - Heart notes: A spicy and sweet blend of ginger, cardamom, and orange blossom. - Base notes: A warm and masculine finish of tobacco, amber, and cedarwood.  I can see this as one my usual scents to wear, have great day/night my peoples.

My craziness over the thanksgiving shopapalooza are trickling in. Today the decants from Decant X and a few Designers came in. Hey good people! Alright… I may or may not have blacked out for a second and ended up with a few new bottles. Don’t judge, it was either this or buying salads for the week, and honestly… fragrances last longer than lettuce 😂 Here are my new additions, with super quick first impressions: CR Miami (Tropical Confessions) Pure vacation mode. Juicy, tropical, flirty, this bottle makes me want to wear flip-flops! Argos: Sacred Flame Warm, spicy, slightly sweet, and luxurious. Honestly, a beautiful scent and gorgeous bottle. Sospiro – Bel Canto Soft, elegant, creamy. So classy it made me hold my bottle with two hands. ATH Riviera Maya (back-up) Fresh, marine, and clean with a niche twist. Basically: “I’m at the beach… but still expensive.” Penhaligon’s Legacy of Petra Spicy amber with desert heat and incense. Smells like a mysterious traveler who knows seven languages. Amouage Imitation Man Vintage leather and smoky florals. ’70s disco energy. You will want to strut. Piotr Czarnecki Venom of Angel Sweet, spicy, a little dark. If an angel had a bad-boy phase, this is what it would wear. MFK Oud Satin Mood (I won this beauty) Silky, sweet, luxurious. This is the fragrance equivalent of wearing a tuxedo to check the mail. Nishane – Wulong Chá Bright citrus meets smooth tea. Clean, happy, and secretly bougie. Voilà, hopefully I can stay put until the end of the year…oh, no, I bought 2 more yesterday.

Ive decided to purge most of my designer fragrances and just go with a few niche houses I really enjoy. So going forward I'll mostly be collection Xerjoff, Amouage, Nishane and Argos. Im sure I'll pick up others along the way but these are the ones that really speak to me right now. Realized that the dupes and designers I first bought when I started this journey are really just collecting dust and taking up space. So in the pics the bottom shelf that isnt organized is what im getting rid of. And still waiting on Overture Man, Search, Lineage, Midas Touch and Fall of Phathon to come in.
