Going into this one, I expected a fairly standard modern fresh masculine fragrance, citrus, aromatic herbs, and clean woody musk in a familiar designer structure. On first spray, that expectation held. It sits firmly in that contemporary masculine space: bright citrus opening, aromatic heart, and a clean woody backbone. Nothing immediately stood out as unusual in the opening stages. A couple of hours in, I found myself going back to it more than I expected. It hasnāt really transformed, but it becomes smoother as it wears. What stands out most is a clean musk and vetiver foundation underneath everything. Itās subtle, but in the EDP it feels more present and more continuous than the EDT version giving the fragrance a steady, grounded quality that keeps drawing me back to it. Thereās also a soft, slightly creamy green fruit-like smoothness running through the midsection that rounds the edges and blends into the musk-vetiver base that is incredible. Itās part of what keeps the drydown feeling so easy to return to. I just keep lifting my hand to my nose. Nothing about it is loud or complex, but the balance between musk, vetiver, and soft woods makes it really sexy for me. I didnāt expect much from this one, but on skin it has proven more interesting than expected. It could easily work as a daily signature.
