What have I learned so far, following @Darren Liu ? It's about what choices we make, right?! Today I made a new choice. I made some crackers, with lower fat. Usually I take three times more oil in theese. But I had to try reducing the fat. Because I love theese crackers! And I also know that they are full of fiber and good seed oil anyway so.. And as always, I take what I have in my pantry. I give you the original recipe. But I didn't have enough sunflower seeds so I added pumkin, sunflower and hamp seeds until right amount. I also switched some of the flour to chickpea flour. With a little help from AI I could translate the recipe properly. Enjoy! Seed crackers 2 dl corn flour 1 dl sunflower seeds 1 dl sesame seeds 0,5 dl brown flaxseeds 20 ml veg oil 2,5 dl boiling water 1 tsp salt (optional) Flaky salt to sprinkle Mix: Combine dry ingredients (flour, seeds, salt) in a bowl. Add Liquid: Stir in oil, followed by water to create a thick batter/dough. Rest: Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to allow seeds to absorb moisture. Spread: Divide between two baking sheets lined with baking paper. Spread into a very thin, even layer. Using plastic gloves or a plastic bag on your hand prevents sticking. Top: Sprinkle with flaky salt Bake: Bake at 150 ā° C for approximately 45 minutes or until completely dry and golden in color.
