Instead of saying ‘no’ to the delicious free bed at the start of the meal, this is what my daughter and I do: 👉 Simply ask for the bread after the main course is finished. You ate the protein. You ate the vegetables. You drank some water. You shared the pasta. You are WAY more likely to say no to the bread or more naturally inclined to eat less of it. Both ways will help you manage your calories better at social meals. It’s also a smart way to ensure your kids don’t fill up on bread before they get to the higher-quality foods. ‼️ REMEMBER: Your toddler’s stomach is the size of their own fist… it’s not that big! Perfect time to introduce Coach Kevin 🫡🏆
Allow me to formally introduce one of our BBB 1on1 coaches, @Kevin Teachanarong 🔥 He just competed in his first BJJ tournament and struck GOLD. And I remember our first conversation (with Coach @Tyler Lo too, who’s taking a break after a knee procedure) about joining Jiu Jitsu about a year ago — like, “Yaaa, I don’t know. I’ll just give it a go and see what happens”. Dude has been so consistent and disciplined ever since. And for the first time in his life, he got the taste of REAL competition. Literally another grown ass man trying to choke you out 😌 That feeling of adrenaline, fear, uncertainty — that’s a feeling not everyone gets to feel in their lifetime unless they do something really hard. And “hard” looks different for everyone. I met Kevin at my restaurant years back. We shared common interests like lifting weights and getting swoll 😆 I felt so much synergy that it was a no-brainer for me to ask him to join my coaching team. He’s helped over a hundred busy professionals achieve amazing body transformations, including @Valerie Frey and @Jennifer Crafton in this community. When in SoCal on vacay… need to meet up my BBB girl Lena! I had the honor to meet @Lena Nguyen today! She pushed me to do her fave F45 hiit workout and loved it so much!!! Thanks for such an awesome workout 🏋️‍♀️! Pushed myself and got through the hour workout but was having so much fun it felt like 5 minutes. Lena you are truly the sweetest ever!!! Thanks so much for taking the time to show me the ropes at F45! 💪🏻 til the next meet up ! 🥰🥰🥰

Monday Laughter: BBB Diva Said RELAX 😌💁🏻‍♀️
Told my partner I’m committing to another F45 challenge. Him: instant face 😳 “So… does that mean no Thai food? No Korean BBQ? What about my birthday steakhouse dinner?? Are you gonna make me reschedule and apologize to BOTH our moms for not eating their food??” Me: Hold up. Pause. Deep breath. ✨ This is a NEW Lena. ✨ I used to be like that… but now I’m a certified BBB Diva 💁🏻‍♀️ Chillaaaaxxx bruh. We can still: 🥩 Celebrate your steak dinner (seafood for me + 2 ribeye bites we can share) 🔥 Korean BBQ with more seafood + lean beef 🍜 Thai food without panic I’m weirdly… zen about it. Meanwhile, he’s having an anxiety attack thinking I’ll restrict his food 😂 Grateful for the BBB program for lowering my food anxiety and letting me enjoy the foods I love without spiraling. Balance. Peace. Protein. ✨ We can ALL be happy ✨
