In the recording, you will see a short introduction with everything you need to know about the three tiers available to you in this group. Then, you will see questions from the group, and then you will see some of our current VIP members share their experiences of the group and why the recommend joining. @Sybil Hall , a current VIP member has also offered to share her perspective with anyone who is thinking about joining and would like to reach out to her with questions. This is an application-only opportunity and a great way to collaborate and cross-promote with other serious Skoolers. Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Does this part of your day feel beyond your control?
Funny how people will spend hundreds on supplements, strength training and healthy food, really care about their health, look after themselves properly… then sit in the same position for eight hours a day assuming the body will somehow just cope with that part. At some point most of us accepted that desk work was simply something the body had to tolerate. Sit still now, try to undo it later. And to be fair, sometimes that works for a while. Until eventually stretching after work starts feeling less like self-care and more like damage limitation. The yoga, walk or workout still helps, but the body keeps tightening back into the same patterns again because it’s spending most of the day adapting to the same environment. That’s the bit I’m interested in. Not “perfect posture” and not another ergonomic lecture either. More the overlooked ways the body adapts to what it repeatedly experiences all day long, and the surprisingly simple shifts that can completely change how you feel during and after your workday. Mental Health meets Energy Worker... please explain (Class'd ed.)
Further to this being Mental Health Month....When I join mental health groups on social media platforms, I feel kind of shy and stay in the background. 🥸 There's jargon I don't use and am not well-versed in. However, I am a witness that mental health and energy work converge by addressing psychological struggles such as trauma and anxiety. 🧞 Both use cognitive and energetic interventions, which I translate into "knowingness." Together, with skill and guidance, they do a great job of releasing stored tension within the body.* They are self-healing mechanisms to be calibrated and personalized ~ learnable, adaptable, and designed to have you feeling more resilient. Mentally and physically healthier.🥰 🧞 My work applies this combo through: --> presencing life-force energy and hand-healing techniques (Reiki+) because sometimes you just need touch to feel more whole, --> Tapping/Emotional Freedom Techniques which helps to manage the nervous system and is derived from the psych method known as Thought Field Therapy, and --> Aromatherapy and Aroma Freedom Techniques, which balance energy centers and support the body's endocrine system among others, especially through olfaction - the process of smell. AND, not necessarily in that order. 🧞 Mental work meets energy work, in my view of you as a WORK OF A.R.T. (aromas/reiki/tapping) You're a completed canvas or sculpture or piece of music (etc.), and all you may want/need is a bit of alignment coaching for lasting emotional transformation. As an energy worker with good mental health (😇), I can supply the demand...for a time anyway! (The gold rush hasn't quite started.)
