If it feels a bit uncomfortable embracing this calling, think of yourself as the "recipient" of care for a moment. You don't help inner healing along by ignoring who you are with wounds and cries for support. You do so by pointing to it, and taking a closer look, as you do with others. π Seeing and feeling yourself --as it is said of teenagers-- is a way to COME INTO YOUR OWN HEALER-SHIP. ποΈ You "consciously" self-heal by first noticing, recognizing, naming the condition. (You're always self-healing beneath the surface.) Naming, using "the best construction" possible, IS living, and loving noticeable change. You immediately turn harm and injury into something identifiable, knowable, mutable, heal-able. So name your stuff, your baggage, your hurts, hurdles and pains. Make the shift from caring so much for others that you avoid self-care & growing & self-healing. Now is the perfect time to take care of AND care-give TO YOU.
