Please Introduce Yourself
One of the most important things I've learned since becoming an online entrepreneur is that the most important thing you can do to grow your business is to build relationships. Many of us (myself included) have rushed to promote our groups and services that we care so deeply about. And it only makes sense - we are excited about what we are doing! Today, I'd like to invite you to take a step back and introduce yourself to the group by answering the following questions: 1. Who are you personally? 2. Who are you professionally? 3. What is something you love doing outside of work? 4. What is something surprising about you? As you open up and make more connections, you will find that not only are people more interested in what you do, but they will also be more interested in helping you make connections with other people they know! 😉 After you introduce yourself, please scroll through the other introductions and add a comment to someone you have something in common with or would like to know more about. 😊 Please add your introduction in the comments below! ⬇️

@Liz Patti Welcome to Skool Classifieds. You've got a lot on your plate and I love you're doing tapping and Eden's energy work to be fully supported in all you do. Her book was one of my first teachers. Kudos! (And I hear you about water. With the family we're in full water relationships so it's calming to be reminded of the stillness and 'life' camping.)
Use/misuse of aromatics and essential oils, trending or no
I hosted an Energy Healing Tune Up (Ess. Oils) this morning--I should say I scheduled it, and did not promote it this week due to funerals, etc., so it was just me, myself, and I. You have every right to know what the hype is about, and how to avoid the dreaded "healing crisis." It occurs when you indulge in essential oils (EOs) too quickly, and the body responds by rushing to the internal imbalance and rectifying it best it can. This can look like a rash or face flush. This is why DILUTE, DILUTE DILUTE is always recommended. BAD EOs REACTION? WHAT TO DO? Dilute...don't use water for example if an oil gets in the eye. Use olive or almond, shea or whatever you have that's oily, to gently wipe away the intense reaction and feeling. The Oils--Energy Healing Tune-Ups, held on Friday mornings, may be the time to bring your healing-body vehicle in for an "oil change" (wanted to get that in). These weekly sessions review usage and news. I also field questions about how best to use oils and aromas in the kitchen, around the home, on your person, and more. "We're Self-Healing, Caregiving" is the community where you can learn how EOs are enfolded into a full, get-healthy and smell-good system: https://www.skool.com/ogrr-healmobiles-1191/classroom/a84a11a6?md=77c08f2d9b3247c98e766923ecf66971 I'm a certified Spiritual Aromatherapist, and bring you my 19+ of experience, executive role in a global EOs company, and love of teaching how to support your body's self-healing function. NEW: just uploaded a Getting Started EO guide on the Free Guides page. DM to let me know if you have questions about this EOs-for-everything health trend that is flooding the market

@Faith Adebayo the ones in the middle. They may need a refresher. They may have oils unopened never used. They may have 1-2 they just love and are curious. Thanks for asking.
How My Life is Richer Because I Question Everything
Slaughter Your Sacred Cows As the bus hummed along the freeway, I was enjoying the chit-chat among the passengers. I looked out at the traffic coming from the opposite direction. Somewhere along the way, I fell asleep and when I came to, I awakened to the most beautiful scenery I have yet to experience. As I looked out of the window, there was a huge pink wall outside, close enough to reach out and touch, or so it seemed. I looked up front and breathtaking is all I can say to describe it. I found out later that this particular stretch of Interstate 15 in the northwest corner of the state of Arizona has been voted the most beautiful stretch of highway in the United States and Canada by the professional truck drivers, people who spend most of their lives on the highways and byways of America. Later on, I wrote a blog post, musing about the fact that so often we go through life with our eyes closed to all that is around us, when all we have to do is open our eyes to see it all. This is not only true literally, it is also true metaphorically. We live in an abundant world, yet we fail to see all that there is, because we go through life with blinders on. Whether the blinders are those of science, religion, culture or tradition, it is all the same. They prevent us from seeing all there is. Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to meet people who have helped me see things in a different light than I was used to and opened up a whole new world for me over and over again and I am extremely grateful for this. I credit my dad with encouraging me to see things differently by constantly showing me things differently and challenging me to find out the truth for myself before accepting someone else’s version of the truth. When I first came to the United States, I had preconceived notions about the people in the West. Those illusions were shattered as I met more and more people. Over time, I started challenging the ideas that were held sacred by my own culture and upbringing. I learned that some of them were just myths with no basis in truth, while others were firmly grounded in truth. I was able to distinguish between them and let go of what did not appeal to me or serve me in my personal and spiritual growth. As a matter of fact, I learned that you cannot accomplish one without the other.

Thanks for this. We are really conditioned to feel and believe there's not enough of nature, life, resources, people who love of us... for everyone. My 1st hubby told me I asked too many questions. My life is richer without the likes of people like him close to me! (Admittedly he's an old friend now & father of my 2children) AND, like you, I know my life is richer because I stay curious.

@Rasheed Hooda i've never thought about it, but indeed my dad was one to ask questions, few and far between.

The Happiness List
This simple exercise has helped transform my happiness and how much I enjoy life. Here's how the Happiness List works... 🔶 Write a list of all the little things that make you happy, or that you get enjoyment from. For example, cuddling the dog, sitting in the sun, listening to your favourite song, sitting in silence, walking, taking pictures...anything you enjoy, or used to enjoy. 🔶 This evening, choose 3 things from that list for you to do tomorrow. Write them down, and ideally decide when in your day you'll do them. 🔶 Do those 3 things (or more). 🔶 In the evening, write down 3 things you did that day that made you happy. They might be the things you planned to do, or other things that happened, or a combination. 🔶 Pick three more things from your list to do the next day. Write them down, and schedule them in. 🔶 Repeat Why this works: Lots of us wonder why we aren't happier, but we never actually do things that make us happy...so why would we be happy? Also, even if we do things that make us happy, we don't recognise them, and we forget about them. This exercise makes us intentionally plan in activities that make us happy, and then recognise and reflect on them. This is one of the habits we teach in The Health Pension community, where we help people live longer, happier lives by creating small, daily habits. ⏩⏩ What goes to the top of your Happiness list? ⏪⏪

top of my list: OBEY YOUR PAUSE. TY for this question and the great outline of how to shift to the happiness habit.

@Andy Byrne Happiness expands by taking more moments to reflect and honor the moments that stop me. I get stopped in my tracks by certain thoughts. Something falls. I may trip. A squirrel knocks on my glass door, literally. (Has never happened before or since, AND the thought/activity I was engaged in was AWESOME.) Animals and especially birds often punctuate what's going on, something said on the phone... like that. This are just a few examples of noticing a pause. They are reminders to review what's going on in the exact moment. Thanks for asking.
