#FriendFriday 🎉
It's time to celebrate each other! In the COMMENTS BELOW, please share a Skool community you think is doing really great things. It can be one you've participated in yourself or one that you've heard from others is amazing. Please do the following: 1. Tell us the name of the community and link to it (affiliates allowed). 2. Tag the person who owns the community. If they are not in the CLASSIFIEDS, then please send them a DM and let them know that you mentioned them here. I promise you will make their day! 3. Describe why the group is so wonderful and how it has helped you. Please DO NOT just copy and paste the About page! 4. Comment on each others comments and scroll through the referrals to see if there's an amazing group you are missing out on! Thanks so much for supporting each other and this community! Please note that any #FriendFriday mentions that are created as new posts will be deleted. Thanks! Please DO NOT promote yourself. 🤨. The entire community is for promoting yourself. This post is for celebrating someone else. 😊

@Kathy Bee Hampton I’m so glad!
Do you notice your child’s sensory signals—but miss your own?
When you’re parenting a child who needs a lot of support, your nervous system is taking in a constant stream of noise, movement, touch, emotions, questions, and decisions. Often, we don’t realize our own nervous system is becoming overloaded until the signs are already showing up. 🫨Everything suddenly feels too loud. 🫨I’m clenching my jaw. 🫨I can’t process one more question. 🫨I’m responding more sharply than I intended. In honor of International Self-Care Day today, I added a free Recognizing Your Own Sensory Signals checklist inside Raising Curious Eaters. It’s a checklist to help you notice when your nervous system is beginning to work overtime—and identify the small things that may help you reset before stress takes over. You’ll find the free checklist waiting for you inside Raising Curious Eaters, and I'm looking forward to meeting you. 🩷

This is so true!
Parenting the Digital World!!
Your child's phone is a door. Do you know what's on the other side of it? Most parents don't — not because they're not paying attention, but because platforms like Roblox and YouTube change constantly, and no one hands you a manual. This summer, more children will spend more unsupervised hours online than at almost any other point in the year. The risks are real — grooming tactics, algorithm-driven content drift, in-app spending, and games that look harmless but aren't built with safety in mind. You don't need to become an expert. You need the right settings, switched on, in the right places. Grounded Roots Parenting is running a 4-week series from Monday: Parenting in a Digital World — practical, no-panic guidance on the controls you already have, the risks worth knowing, and how to set limits without a fight. Premium members get full step-by-step setup guides for every major broadband provider, YouTube, and Roblox — done for you, ready to use today. Don't wait until something happens to wish you'd known. Get ahead of it now!!

@Brenda Chilstrom I agree!
Prep for YouTube intro video -help!
I am getting ready to launch my YouTube channel and the first video will be an intro video. I bought a decent selfie stick/tripod and have decent lighting. Since I am just getting going, I don’t want to spend much money on stuff. I don’t need now but might need later. This will be the first YouTube video I have ever done so just wondering from those who have done it before, if you have any suggestions, I should keep in mind or in adopt? Thank you.

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS.
