Stop member churn with this simple 7-day onboarding sequence
Most group owners lose their members in the first week because they don't have a plan to keep them engaged. If you want to turn new members into superfans, try this: Day 1: The Welcome Send an automated email or tag them in a welcome post. Set clear expectations on what they should do first. Day 3: The Quick Win Resource Send them a high-value PDF, video, or checklist. Give them a "win" early so they see the value of your group. Day 7: The Human Touch Send a personal DM. Ask: "How are you settling in? Is there anything specific I can help you with?" This simple sequence builds trust and keeps your retention high. 👇 What does your current onboarding look like? Let's swap ideas in the comments!

Stop Guessing: Double Your Engagement 🚀
Tired of spending time writing a post only to get zero likes and zero comments? In the beginning I made the mistake of posting the same way every time. But to grow, you need to find out exactly what your audience prefers. Try this test this week by rotating these 4 types of posts: 1. 📝 Text-Only: Share a quick tip or a bold opinion. 2. 🖼️ Images: Post a screenshot of a win or a helpful infographic. 3. 🎥 Short Video: A 60-second 'behind the scenes' or a quick tutorial. 4. 📊 Polls: Ask a simple 'This or That' question to get easy clicks. Your goal here is to track your notifications for 7 days. Which one got people talking? 👇 Which of these 4 formats are you most nervous to try? Let’s talk about it below!

@Kathy Fluch agreed. That’s mine as well. I started just recording myself in meetings with no one but me then reviewing and picking one thing to work on for next time.
🚫 Why I'm not doing a standard VSL
A VSL is usually a "who is behind this project" video. And I'm not on the spotlight of Roast & Promote. You are! Who is Paulo? Just another person looking for feedback and visibility on his work. Same as you. Roast & Promote was submited to roasting twice. Also my profile, linkedin, fiverr gig and promotion ideas. And you can use this commnunity the same way as I do. Also, I just launched a "Roast my Short Lesson" category that I will be using to get feedback on the insights that I have. My community is not a place where I'm a guru teaching you something. I submit my ideas and lessons to be roasted, and you can do the same. Invite discussion to your teachings methods, open yourself to be challenged on your convictions and be shown a new perspective that you haven't seen before. You will see how much you will grow!

I've received a lot of great insight in @Paulo Costa, The Roaster 's group. All of it has helped me get better.

Turn your best posts into a mini-course in just 10-Minutes
Your community content isn’t noise. If you’ve ever written a post that got a lot of engagement either in your groups or in others, you’ve already done 90% of the work for a course module. Here is how to turn a 'post' into a 'lesson': 1. Find your top-performing 'value' post. 2. Structure the core tips into 3-5 bullet points. 3. Record a 5-minute video walking through those points. 4. Upload it to your Classroom tab as a 'Quick Win' module. Instead of staring at a blank screen trying to build a course, look at what your members are already loving. What’s one post you’ve written that deserves to be a permanent lesson? Drop a link or the topic below!
