Premiering Gisada Ambassador Intense
I felt in love with this one since the first sniff at a store. I added it to my wishlist until I found it at the price I was willing to pay for it. It does have similarities with Dior Sauvage Elixir, its richness, spiciness, smokiness, and specifically the distinctive licorice accord. However, I like Ambassador Intense much more because smoothens the rough edges people might reject from Sauvage Elixir, offering a more brighter, sweeter and mass appealing sent (specially at the dry down) with the same stain power. I canât get enough of it!

SOTD: Mancera Cedrat Boise
Cedrat Boise from Mancera is one of those fragrances that makes a strong first impression without feeling overly complicated. Released in 2011 and created by Pierre Montale, it opens with bright Sicilian lemon, bergamot, black currant, and spicy notes before settling into patchouli, jasmine, cedar, leather, vanilla, musk, and moss. On first sampling, what stood out to me was how versatile it feels. The opening is fresh and fruity, but underneath thereâs this smooth woody-leathery base that keeps it from smelling like just another citrus fragrance. A lot of people compare it to the âmodern masculine compliment magnetâ style, but Cedrat Boise has a softer, creamier character than some of the louder fragrances in that category. Performance is excellent on my skin â strong longevity without becoming overwhelming. I can easily see this working as an everyday signature scent. Casual wear, office, dinners out, travel, spring through fall⊠it covers a lot of ground. Easy to understand why this one has such a loyal following in the fragrance community.
