Who Started It All For You?
Let’s show some brotherhood love this valentine weekend. Everyone probably has that one member of BOS who influenced them the most and added fuel to their fragrance passion. For me, the answer is obvious. @Julio Gutierrez is the one who truly kickstarted it all. Who’s that person for you?

Would You Rather ?
When purchasing Niche or Designers what is your preference, to purchase 50ml or do you feel it’s a better deal to pay a few extra bucks and just purchase a 100ml bottle, me personally I’d much rather just purchase 100ml , seems to always in my humble opinion end up being a better deal

āļøSIGNATURE ACQUIREDāļø- PARFUMS DE MARLY CARLISLE
It’s a frigid, stormy day today up in the Vegas, and perfect weather to wear something i’ve been wanting to try out for a while. Carlisle, by Parfums de Marly. And holy sh*t dude this scent is amazing. It’s dark, rich, sweet, dense, and very intense. Both mysterious and seductive with a slight masculine edge to it. This stuff is beast mode so it’s hard to wear up here, but there’s no better place to wear it than now. It opens up with green apple heavily wrapped with spices, saffron and nutmeg. There’s a slightly fruity edge, but it smells less apple-cider-esque because the spices are more prevalent and the apple is more of a complimentary edge, similar to the pineapple in Aventus. It descends nicely with a heart of rose and tonka bean, complimented with some osmanthus. the rose is very well blended with the tonka, and manages to be sweet and lightly floral without being overly jammy or bouquet-esque. The drydown is a great heavy vanilla and patchouli combo. Vanilla is definitely one of the strongest notes here, and it blends well with the spices, rose, and tonka bean. It reminds me a bit of tobacco vanille, as it has a certain honey-like sweetness, likely from the rose, vanilla, tonka, spice, and patchouli blend, but a little bit smoother. I’ve tried a bunch of pdms, herod, haltane, althair, layton, kalan, and oajan, carlisle is definitely my favorite. It’s a bit of a darker and more mature cousin to layton and herod. It’s mature, dark, sophisticated, and far less mass appealing, although this one is definitely a compliment magnet. This is probably one of my new favorites out of everything i’ve tried. I’ll probably save up to buy a full bottle in a few months to purchase for the cold nights. Definitely a great overcoat, scarf, and sweater scent. I think this will be my new winter signature. It checks off every box for me. Absolutely in love. First signature scent acquired for the winter! now to hop on the hunt for my other seasonal signatures
