Hi from Costa Rica 🇨🇷 + Q&A on Tuesday, August 4
Hey everyone ☀️🌴 It's been a little while since I've properly checked in, so I wanted to give you a quick update from Costa Rica. As some of you know, I came here for a plant medicine retreat and took the opportunity to enjoy a vacation as well. I'm still processing everything that happened, so I'm not ready to share the full story yet. It was one of the most challenging, beautiful, and transformative experiences I've ever had. I also got to spend time with some incredible people who've had a huge impact on my life, and I'm grateful that they're now becoming my friends. For the people in cohort 3.5 and continuation: I'll be sharing the more on the Q&A on Tuesday, August 4, and I'm looking forward to having an open conversation with all of you. In the meantime, I'd love to make the session as valuable as possible. Drop your questions below 👇 I've also been a bit behind on DMs because of the travel, so thank you for your patience. I'll be catching up over the next few days. Looking forward to seeing some of you on Tuesday. With love 💛 Jim

Next live 5 day challenge announcement + New AI experience
Hey everyone, Jim here. Three things announced today. 1. The next 5-Day Challenge kicks off August 31: Free, live, and rebuilt from the ground up. This is the best version we've ever run. Save your spot here. Then do the part that actually decides whether you show up. Open your own calendar, block the hour on all five days, and set two reminders. For brains like ours, if it's not in the calendar it doesn't exist. Do it now, while this post is still on your screen. It takes two minutes. 2. Still finishing something something? You have until July 20 ⚠️ If you're working through the ADHD Focus Reset or the current 5-Day Challenge, they stay open through Monday July 20. After that everything closes until August 31. 3. New onboarding, and a new AI experience: The ADHD Operating Manual. The first section is free for every member, so you can try it before you decide. The full version is $27 right now instead of $99. Temporary. And that $27 is one single payment, no subscription. It also opens the chat with my AI twin: three messages a day, every day, all the way until the challenge starts on August 31. Ask it why you keep doing that one thing, and it answers with everything it already knows about you from your own reports. So tell me where you're at. Vote in the poll, it takes one tap. And if you're coming August 31, type a comment below and include the word: CHALLENGE and let us know how excited you are 🥳 With love, 💛 Jim

Issues with Jim's Twin?
Has anyone had the issue where they are talking to Jim's Twin, it hears something but you never even finish a sentence and it counts it as one of your questions? This happened 2 times today so I only spoke 1 time and I hit my max😭😭😭
🌀 I re-wrote what ADHD stands for. Here's why.
For most of my life, those four letters told a story about me that I never agreed to. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Deficit. Disorder. Read those words again. They're the language of something broken, lacking, wrong. And I carried that quietly for years, believing it. 💔 So this week I did something small that felt huge. I kept the letters, and I changed the words: ✨ 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 ✨ - Attention - mine doesn't switch off, it moves differently, and that movement is where my ideas are born. - Dynamic - not deficient. Fast, fluid, alive. - Hyperfocus - the superpower on the other side of the struggle. When it matters, I go all the way in. - Design - not a disorder. Nothing about how I'm wired is an accident. I Like the term VAST too, (Variable Attention Stimulus Trait - coined by Dr Ed Hallowell, - and hopefully it will get accepted more broadly and help change the view of ADHD being a disorder, or deficit) - So I often refer to myself as being diagnosed with VAST - and if people dont get that I rever to What MY ADHD letters stand for. It's the same four letters. But now they describe a brain I'm learning to master, not one I'm ashamed to have. 💛 My little mantra now: my brain isn't a disorder to fix, it's a design to master. If your letters have been telling you a story you never agreed to... maybe it's time to keep the letters and rewrite the words. What would yours say? 👇
