Then I kept giving him advice. I tried to tell him that I have to put my oxygen mask on first, before I help someone. I ended up falling asleep after 2am again. Fortunately, I decided to work from home today so I could sleep for another hour. All day I was going through the obligatory digital security training. And to save time, I didn't go out. All evening I kept working on the worksheets. Unfortunately, I had to start over with the first question as it didn't save. Probably because of the update and I didn't refresh the page before I started today. So far, I have only replied to a few questions from week one. 💡 Personal Insight Annika, last night told the whole story: you were ready to rest, and then someone needed you, and your generous heart pulled you back in until 2am again. You even said the truth out loud, oxygen mask first, and that awareness is huge, because you spent sixty years not knowing why your mind worked the way it did. You are wired to see what others need and to guide them, but that same gift quietly drains you when no one invites you to stop. Today you actually protected yourself, working from home, eating well, taking a cold shower, single-tasking through frustrating worksheets that wouldn't even save. That is not failure, that is you slowly learning to put yourself on the list. You don't have to rebuild yourself in one night, you only have to stop abandoning yourself in the small moments. → Today - Your bedtime is not negotiable tonight.
