Half the battle
I really think half the battle is DECIDING what to even start on in the first place. Anyone else agree?

Free Body Doubling Session with Jim Today
Join a live 1-hour productivity session designed to help you finally get things done. We'll start with 10–15 minutes where I'll share practical productivity tips, ADHD-friendly strategies. Then we'll set a clear intention and spend 45–50 minutes working together in silence using body doubling. Body doubling is an effective productivity technique for ADHD. Simply working alongside other people increases accountability, reduces the mental friction of getting started, and helps your brain stay engaged. We'll finish with a quick check-out to celebrate progress and build momentum for the rest of your day.

@Judy Hamilton excellent 👌
Bedtime resistance
In feeling shame about ‘yet another’ late night and the sheer truculence I feel in going to bed…I opted to start a convo with JT (Jim’s AI twin) as to ‘why’ I find this so hard? In my ramblings and thoughts and questions I must have asked ‘why?’ multiple times. What’s so great about the AI here is how it builds on what it knows and even in just glancing over its thought process (before the actual answer even generated) I felt the soothing relief of that itch finally being scratched. Understood. Answers. Clarity.

Starting vs Finishing
So keen to know what you’d REALLY love more please… A) The freeze before you start to no longer feel an issue…so that beginning feels easy breezy and you no longer put things off. B) To actually finish what you start and not feel so scattered with so many half-finished things all over the place. A or B please (hybrid answer of C - aka both - welcome too if it’s too close to call 😉)

@Kat Mul am a huge fan of starting and so want people to treat themselves kindly when they say things like “I never finish anything”…I want to jump in and say to them what does that even matter? You did SOMETHING, you tried, you gave it a go…ALL of which are hugely admirable…not to mention credible too 🤩 That being said, I wonder if I am cutting myself some slack here in not seeing things through to the point of completion…but then what even is ’completion’ in the first place?…Woah, that got real deep, real soon…so contemplating that a bit further too 💞

@Sd Brown Useful, thank you 💞
Pay Attention To Email 😄
I saw an email that went to spam. I saw it had harmony and just about clicked it when I realized it said, "Partner of eHarmony". I see the word Harmony, and I jump on those emails. Don't be like me and assume all "Harmony" emails are ADHD Harmony or you might get scammed or a new partner. LOL🤦
