MY ADHD Snapshot...WOW!!
Just finished the first section of my ADHD Snapshot and realized the thing I always called selfishness or being unreliable is actually a wall between what I want to do and what I can make myself do. I also caught myself writing a letter of self love to my younger self, when the person who needs to hear it is the woman I am right now. It was definatly an eye opening experience. I can already tell this is going to change my life completly. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this!!! ❤️

Tired, though, the Knicks won, the NBA finals. So we were up late, but then I still read for my transition time. I think the other night, what I did was read to the TV. And so the break, even though the TV was off, there wasn't a real demarcation between what I was doing and the wind down, which is, I think, maybe why I didn't wind down and had such terrible trouble sleeping. So I'm going to try that, try to make sure there's either a change in what I'm reading, if I'm reading in the living room, or if I'm reading while we're watching TV, so I can do some steps, make some tea, or do a little cleaning or something to really mark the end of the day and the beginning of the wind down. So that's going to be what I try today. Very happy with having a new business card done that I'm satisfied with. So that felt really good. And not endlessly redoing. So thank you for that. So lots to do today. I've gotten behind. I don't like to use that word. But I haven't done this week's worksheets or done any special conversation with Jim's twins. So I'm going to be working on some of that today and get back to my good focus on Lynns Love Reiki and on Reiki. I'm Tom and I'm ready for the journey ahead
Hi I'm Tom, I'm 51 and I currently own a bar. I was officially diagnosed last month, but I hadn't really sat with it until I had a series of crises at work and personally all of which are clearly related to my ADHD. I saw this community and thought I'd join. I did the first AI assessment and when I read the reply I cried for an hour- like howling like a child. It was a very weird experience. I'm at my wits end with a life not lived- I'm struggling with getting things done so badly and realise that it's time to understand myself more, look deep inside and come up with a plan. The work and materials on here have helped hugely already on that mission. I'm looking forward to watching some more of the community intro videos on here because many seem to echo my experiences and that alone makes me feel more seen. I've never opened up publicly to anyone so simply writing this message is progress
