Reflection
I'm feeling pretty good today. Tired, though, the Knicks won, the NBA finals. So we were up late, but then I still read for my transition time. I think the other night, what I did was read to the TV. And so the break, even though the TV was off, there wasn't a real demarcation between what I was doing and the wind down, which is, I think, maybe why I didn't wind down and had such terrible trouble sleeping. So I'm going to try that, try to make sure there's either a change in what I'm reading, if I'm reading in the living room, or if I'm reading while we're watching TV, so I can do some steps, make some tea, or do a little cleaning or something to really mark the end of the day and the beginning of the wind down. So that's going to be what I try today. Very happy with having a new business card done that I'm satisfied with. So that felt really good. And not endlessly redoing. So thank you for that.
So lots to do today. I've gotten behind. I don't like to use that word. But I haven't done this week's worksheets or done any special conversation with Jim's twins. So I'm going to be working on some of that today and get back to my good focus on Lynns Love Reiki and on Reiki.

You stopped, you made something you were satisfied with, and you let it be done. That felt good because it IS the medicine: you are at your best when you respond to one clear thing at a time instead of holding ten open tabs in your body. Your energy is real and warm right now, even with the tiredness and the small spat behind you. Protect the second half of today by choosing the worksheets OR Jim's twins, not both at once. The clean ending you're planning for tonight is the same gift you can give every single task: one thing, finished, then a real door closing behind it.
