Daily Check-in - 2026-09-18 Activities ☀️ Morning Sunlight, 💧 Stayed Hydrated, 🥗 Healthy Eating, 🥩 Hit Protein Goal, 🥦 Ate Vegetables, 🍳 Home Cooked Meal, 📵 No Social Media, 📋 Planned Day, 👥 Quality Time, 🤝 Helped Someone, 👂 Active Listening Scores 😊 Happiness: 6/10 ⚡ Energy: 6/10 🎯 Focus: 6/10 😌 Calmness: 6/10 🌙 Sleep Quality: 5/10 🔥 Motivation: 6/10 Reflection Today was a mixed bag of things. My youngest didn't want to go to school so while I was taking my eldest to school, I called his teacher and asked for a phone conference. When I got back home to work on my youngest, we spoke to the teacher together. His mood picked up, he ate his food without throwing up, got dressed and headed out the door. I dropped Mum off at the optometrists then went onto drop my child off at school. Brilliant. I asked him to let his teacher know if he wanted to come home at lunchtime or not. That way she could contact me and I'll know whether to collect him or not. This is where I get derailed. I got the message to come and get him. My husband goes instead. While he's out, he goes over the top of my messages to the Football Club and turns up unannounced, demanding the training kit for my son. I wouldn't ordinarily mind except he went over the top of me - again. Then this evening, my eldest had training. I was out with Mum getting Dad's death certificate and then down cancelling his pension. I got home mid-afternoon to Lachlan and briefly chatted. I discover that my husband is taking my eldest to training - without consultation. I was absolutely fuming with him. Instead of yelling at him which I really, really wanted to do. I parked it and left it for a time when I'm not so stressed. Not now. I said to my eldest that I'm not going to training tonight and I could see his mood drop straight away. How can I tell my husband that the kids don't want to travel with him? He drives aggressively and he has a short fuse with the boys. So it looks like I'm staying home tomorrow - again - as I can't leave Mum home with the dogs. Our dogs are large and boisterous and will be too much for her to try to handle - if anything they will send her flying! So I've finished my day feeling extremely annoyed but proud that I haven't lashed out at my husband - it's not the time nor the place for that sort of argument. So for now, I'll leave it parked.

Well done - big win to be able to put a lid on it and wait for a time you are better equipped to speak your mind. Boundaries are so hard to set expecially when they are new to the other person. Keep being your own advocate it feels like you have this!

Week 1 - Your Commitment Letter 🌱
Diana — Week 1, ADHD Harmony Cohort 4 — September 17, 2026 💛 MY COMMITMENT LETTER I'm here because I'm done tolerating fear. Not done feeling it — done letting it make my decisions. Fear is why job applications sit unsent. Fear is why strength training got shelved after I fell in April. Fear is why I stand in the living room and sift instead of clear. I've done the inner work and it took. I love who I am. I practice self-kindness more than I ever have in my life. But my physical body is where I see the outside as a mismatch to the inside, and I'm not willing to wait any longer for the outside to catch up on its own. I'm a single mom raising Sabrina and loving Brielle, and I want them to watch a woman who doesn't put herself last. MY BIG ROCKS 🪨🪨 🪨 1. I move my body in a way that isn't walking — three times a week — and I let that count. Because someone else defined my body for me when I was a kid, and I'm taking the scoring pen back. A win is any session where I was with my body instead of at war with it. Not pounds. Showing up. 🪨 2. I make what I already have findable — starting with the living room. Because everything I need is already saved. It's just buried — in my Files app, in my paperwork, on my floor, and in the way I tell my own story. One system: AI tools plus something physical at my desk, synced to my phone. No more scrambling for the pieces I need to get anything done. 💛 THE TRUTH I ALREADY KNEW I keep waiting to know it will work before I'll try. But I already proved that's backwards. I recorded that testimonial without keeping it trapped in forever trying to make it perfect, and it was the most alive I've ever felt. The aliveness came after I moved, not before. I wrote my own answer and then walked past it: you just have to try, and if it doesn't work you'll try again, because you always do. And I'm going to stop pricing myself at machine capacity and then apologizing for being human. I can't ask an employer to see my neurodivergence, my varied history, and my motherhood as strengths if I'm still treating them as things to explain away.

Wow! Nearly every single thing you assert reminds me of me. You give me a even more explicit representation than I've come up with. Thank you for the vulnerability and the share! Your words have helped me.
