Good morning, beautiful people πŸ’— I just have to share this, because my heart is so full this morning. Tonight is our Week 4 Breathwork session... and yesterday it really looked like I couldn't be there. Two agendas collided and it felt like a no. But guess what? The impossible became possible. 🌷 It's arranged, I will be there LIVE, and I cannot tell you how grateful I am. There is something magical about truly wanting to be in a room (even a virtual one) and watching space quietly open up for you. I feel that today. βœ¨πŸ•―οΈ So consider this your little reminder too: Breathwork is coming back tonight. I really loved the breathwork - funny that as a former singer and way longer ago a former smoker - I"m sure that part of the upsides of both practices were deep breathing. I remember fake-smoking in the immediate proximity of quitting smoking - which was about 30 years ago - but somehow I lost track of the good feeling of deep breathing - without the scorching heat and nicotine lol. It felt so good and I'll be repeating the playback, and looking for a 5-10 minute breathwork to add to my morning routing.

wow this was the core message that got through to me during the Breathwork session with Yoran. I'm so for ever grateful to be introduced to breathwork by @Jim Ebbelaar and for the guidance that Yoran provides us with these experience. I'm really grateful to feel so deeply safe and will take this with my in to my future me, that will wake up fresh and happy tomorrow morning!! Sleep well or have a great day everyone!!

My take on Somatic Breathwork
I have to admit when I went into the Somatic Breathwork at 4am yesterday morning, I had heard lots of hype around it. I wasn't sure what to believe. The sceptic in me believed that it was just a gimmick. But do you know what? It wasn't! Yesterday I felt so relaxed and grounded, the first time in such a long time - and I mean a looooong time! My biggest take home message: I don't breathe - well obviously I do but not properly. I only had a couple of episodes where things came up for me. Firstly my fear of falling asleep during the session - caught myself twice when both body and mind shut down. Secondly, the feeling of not being good enough reared it's ugly head. I chose in that session to let it go. And I did. That's huge for me - that mask, that feeling, has been a part of me all my life. AND I chose to let it go. Wow! The day was crazy and hectic yet I wandered around calmly. It was the strangest, yet most beautiful feeling that has ever taken hold of me. It's something I'm going to do again but this time, I'll do it on the bed and not the lounge floor - it wasn't very comfortable! Mind you, does that mean I might fall asleep again? No matter what, if you get the opportunity to do it - grab it with both hands and see what lands for you. We're all different and we all take different messages from it. Give it a go. I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to @Jim Ebbelaar for offering this as part of the cohort work - also to our wonderful facilitator, Yuran.

You NZ and others that do this stuff at 4AM.... hat's off to you. I think I've only seen 4am a few times in my younger life and that was staying out till then. I don't think it would be possible for "love nor money" for me to do anything at 4am. I so admire your showing up for this.

πŸ“… Daily Check-in - June 6, 2026 πŸ’­ Reflection: ". . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Well, another lost recording, but I will try it again. So today, I finally got a somewhat decent night's sleep. And so I'm feeling much better. One more good night's sleep, and I'll be all the way back. I do need to remember when I'm having an off day or an off couple of days that it's so easy to retreat into the self-blame, shame-blame game and fall apart altogether. Except, of course, for my morning and evening bookends that are inviolate. And so anyway, I'm taking care of some things today. The cleanliness in the apartment is more an issue than the clutter today. So I'm getting a bunch of that squared away and easily and one 5 to 10 minute task in succession and not running out of energy and feeling good being able to tick them off.
