How to make money (without being an expert)
Credibility-hack. Leverage the credibility of others through close association. When I got started on YouTube I was a spotty, uneducated, teenager. I had zero credibility. So I procrastinated on making content for ages. "Why would anyone want to listen to me?" So I borrowed the credibility Stoicism to start uploading videos: https://www.youtube.com/@AndrewKirbys/videos (sort by oldest). I was never claiming I was an expert. I was saying "Marcus Aurelius was an expert, and here's what he said." It worked! I started growing my audience. It's worth noting you can credibility hack in many ways. Leverage science (like Rian Doris), leverage celebrities (like Jeff Bezos Vs Elon Musk's morning routine), or really anything else that has credibility. Then I realised that I had overcome my procrastination around uploading videos, so now I had some credibility around that topic. "I used to procrastinate, now I don't, here's how I did it." I went from borrowing other's credibility to having a bit of my own. I started being the 'productivity guy' Launched a flagship digital product. Made $1M in 2 years. So... if you don't have credibility... Credibility-hack!

Looking to expand my thumbnail portfolio
Hi Guys, first time posting here ! I have been re-making thumbnails recently, of videos on YouTube that have already been released but have not performed well due to what I believe is the thumbnail. I've been striving to get better and better to create the best thumbnails possible. I was wondering if anyone who has some YT videos lined up would be up for me creating some thumbnails for your videos at no cost to you! I can send over the thumbnail remakes I have made, so if anyone is interested, let me know! Thanks very much guys!

Hi, I would really appreciate any sort of feedback. You can absolutely ๐Ÿ’ฉ on it, don't hold back. I am currently starting a content agency for architecture studios in France. In order to be legitimate and create content for others, I have to grow my own socials first. I've started the instagram account @houselink.fr. I am trying to create some original content in a niche that's very popular already. The account is in French but it's easy to understand the style of content I am posting. Also, my strategy is to use this instagram as a proof for credibility, it's not necessarily the style of content I would do for my clients. https://www.instagram.com/houselink.fr/

Kiam, I think your videos are amazing. I donโ€™t understand a word but youโ€™re great with music and SFX. Reminds me a lot of this guy https://www.instagram.com/bymaximise?igsh=cW11MXhueDBmcW84 Think youโ€™ll do great over time. The only thing Iโ€™d try out is having actual speaking voices that tell the story. Iโ€™m often too lazy to read along and just wanna focus on the visual

@Kiam Majzels You got this Kiam. Again, really like what you're doing already. If you have the manpower, time and focus, I'd even consider growing a second account in English. (Don't listen to me. Lack of focus is one of my biggest struggles :D)
Any Thomas Frank Notion Template Users here? ALSO How do ANY/ALL of you organize your content & projects?

In my experience it doesn't ๐’๐’†๐’„๐’†๐’”๐’”๐’‚๐’“๐’Š๐’๐’š make perfect sense out of the box, and I think it might be more intuitive if you start using notion to simply start it like a linked note tool from scratch, and learn as you go. I had bought both of those, and they've been sitting in my notion, and I've been using a few features of it here and there, very slowly. It's taken me time to actually want to integrate them into my life. My idea is, actually build content plans here within the templates with the aim that it will make it easier to keep thoughts organized. Andrew's advice of basically "use new tools ๐˜ผ๐™Ž ๐™ฎ๐™ค๐™ช ๐™ฃ๐™š๐™š๐™™ ๐™ฉ๐™๐™š๐™ข" and also a bit of a notion learning curve applied. I created my own system with Notion too. Built a handful of automations to help me with idea creation and some prep work. I tried switching to Airtable but itโ€™s not it ๐Ÿฅฒ even though I love the interface builder. Itโ€™s just too slow and clunky
๐Ÿ‘‰ Feedback for this YouTube Content strategy, please
So... here are a couple of updates on the strategy that I'm currently using: - I've started to post on a more consistent basis (currently on a 3 videos/week schedule). - I've added a dedicated hook for each new video - Improved SEO (Title, Description, Tags). The SEO score on the new videos is above 80 (I use TubeBuddy) What I'm not doing: - Don't have fancy editing - Running ads on the channel (I've done it in the past for about 2 weeks -> got ยฑ2K views) The results I'm getting so far: - From time to time, YouTube shows me high impressions for videos (1K impressions, 15 views, and 0.7% CTR, for example) - From those views, the watch time is low: <10% I have a strong feeling that the videos are good and could get more views. When I started my channel, I promoted it to my Romanian audience (which is more interested in IT, rather than business). Currently, I have 138 subscriber. Experts on the topic told me that YouTube might promote the videos to the wrong audience, but can it go this wrong? I plan to keep going until I have 100 videos (excluding shorts) on the channel (currently at 33) and see the numbers from there. My goal is to get consistent 150 - 300 views per video and have a couple of "winners" (that get great SEO rankings). I'm using this approach on my Romanian IT channel (50K+ subs) and it works. Here's the link to the channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7zKUTAcjxISXp_amz9TzSg Any suggestions? PS: Also, I've started posting on a new fresh channel. Over there I'm getting 0 views for my videos. PPS: I also have a Romanian channel with over 50K subscribers: https://youtube.com/@TeachBit

I like your approach. Focusing on quantity will lead to better videos over time. Your thumbs are good! Iโ€™d go for 100 videos with that pace and then test doing 1 per week with more intention, using data from those 100 videos. Make sure to get viewers from external platforms when publishing and try to make the first 60 seconds the most interesting to watchโ€ฆ at least thatโ€™s what I am doing ๐Ÿ˜
