Skool strategy
Hey folks (I never say that in real life to anyone!) I have an established high ticket course that I want to move to skool and lower the price abit and pay monthly. So it seems to me the best strategy is get people in your free Community group. Then open up a second subscription to get them into your paid monthly subscription model of a low amount per month. Then from there, they upgrade in the Classroom by unlocking course and paying per course as you can pay to unlock a course in any group, is that correct? How do I have the higher level at $500 a month? The lower at $99 a month, plus a free community - so that's 3 groups. Or maybe just have a free one or 99 one plus the 500 one is better? I can see the appeal of the free community. I just have to make sure I am not answering their questions like 'How do I get on BBC News?' unless I answer with a 'get the course called BBC News, here's the link (and it takes them to a 500 a month subscription course or one off payment to watch that tutorial) I mean I'm helping people get on TV so it's high value. My clients are getting on TV and radio like 7 times in 5 days sometimes! And they do it over and over again. So 500 is peanuts really. It's like lifelong free TV and radio advertising of yourself going on as an expert. Thanks Kerry

@Kerry Hopkins basically, but my main programme is a higher-ticket mastermind/ group mentorship program so I do want to keep that separate, also for privacy reasons. It's not really subscription either, I have a different payment plan

@Jenny Capella no problem. We're doing 80 - 130k/m with this strategy at the moment. Well, this strategy is part of the reason.
How We Prevent Spam/Cold DM's in our Community + 2 Feature Requests
Receiving spam DM's on Skool SUCKS - so here's how we prevent it in our community. • Step 1: We made a Cold DM'r Wall of Shame and pinned it 📌 This way, members can work together to report spammers and our admin team can delete people as soon as they're posted. • Step 2: We added an agreement to our membership questions that says: "We have ZERO tolerance for spam. If you cold DM anyone in this group about your services you will be banned immediately." And then the two multiple choice answers are: "I will not send any cold DM's" and "I don't understand." We don't approve anyone who says "I don't understand." • Step 3: We included a reminder of our policy in our intro class module. See attached below for what that looks like 👇 Hope this helps you prevent spammers and cold DM'rs! And remember: If you found this post helpful, give it a thumbs up 👍 Ted P.S. I have 2 feature request that I think would really help prevent more spam: First: When we click 'Ban User' I wish there was a pop up with a multiple choice input box asking for the reason for the ban so we can give them a reason for why they're being banned. Example: Spamming/Cold DM's Inappropriate posts Harassment Membership expired Other (text input) This would help teach them a lesson and prevent them from spamming in other groups. Because right now if they get banned they might not even realize it, or know why... and they'll probably just carry on their spammy behaviour in the next available community. Second: Skool could make it so if a person gets banned from more than 2 communities from spamming, their ability to DM gets shut off for a period of time.

@Gonçalo Ribeiro not when you're running a community where a lot of people have paid to be there, and THEY'RE the ones getting pitched. That's my issue with it.
Error when posting & emailing
Hi team - I created a post that was to also be sent out as an email. There was an error (it just said, 'there was an error') so it did NOT get posted, and I'm getting the 72-h message when I try to do this again. Any way to solve this apart from waiting 72 h? Thanks!

Skool + Airtable CRM & Client Management System 💰
Hi, I’m Andrew... I haven’t posted here in awhile, but I had to say this... Skool + Airtable is a deadly combination. If you’re starting out... 1. Create data sections in airtable for "Sales Prospecting" & "Client Management" in Airtable 2. Use the Airtable Webclipper to automatically sync the prospects in your free Skool community into your Airtable CRM (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/airtable-web-clipper/fehcbmngdgagfalpnfphdhojfdcoblgc?hl=en) 3. Create an Onboarding Form for new clients in Airtable, so they're automatically added 4. Add a section for their Skool Profile to be added to their Client Card in Airtable, so you're just one click away from seeing all of their Skool metrics 5. Set up the Dashboards for your Skool Synced CRM & Client Management System in Airtable Interfaces (see below for some examples) (I've added pictures below with some examples. @Ted Carr reminded me of this today, so that's why he's in there and why I'm writing this post :p) Obviously this is the simplified process, but this combination of Skool and Airtable has made the sales and client delivery side of the business so much simpler than when I was using Facebook Groups and Spreadsheets in my last $5mil+ coaching business. Thank you so so so much @Sam Ovens and the Skool community here! Skool is sooo much better than Facebook Groups :p

Skool got my Low-ticket refund rate to 0 (and we crossed 100 members!)
I've got a low-ticket offer running to my $47 Content with AI clinic and I recently moved the course into Skool, off of Facebook. What I'm most excited about: increasing engagement, the KLT factor & ultimately sales from my ad funnel with Skool 1. Unexpected benefit: Our refund request rate went down to 0, not including people who accidentally bought it twice (quite a few, surprisingly!). 2. This was really interesting because we offered a 7-day money back guarantee, and at the beginning had a a fairly high ratio of people ask for a refund when they bought... simply because of the structure (Facebook). We switched to Skool, broke up the big video into smaller pieces, added cover graphics and voila... looks 10x better as a first impression and not a SINGLE refund request (apart from people purchasing twice) since we switched over a few weeks ago. Even though the content is pretty much the same! Gotta say no regrets with starting with the FB group first though, it's critical to me that things get validated first before investing more time, effort & money into them! 3. We've added a Free Trainings vault in the Start Here section, with a mix of super valuable content. I focused on giving people a variety of content I thought they'd also be interested in - e.g. on pricing, sales, mindset and business growth. - short, bingeable 15 min videos & podcast episodes - longer trainings - paid workshop on pre-selling offers that I did - cheatsheets on pricing, etc I love that a new member, or a new buyer, can join and see all the fun free things they have immediate access to! 4. For gamification, we've added: - Unlockable courses at every level (might add a few extra ones at Level 2 actually, since that's where most people will get to!) - A very clear Start Here + Get Points guide - Lots of reminders about how to get points + why to get points - We're going to do Leaderboard prizes and I've started sharing that that's happening, which people are loving! (Got this idea from @Ted Carr )

@Steven Pearson yup. And when my Facebook account glitched and I got locked out… that became a major issue.
