Skool got my Low-ticket refund rate to 0 (and we crossed 100 members!)
I've got a low-ticket offer running to my $47 Content with AI clinic and I recently moved the course into Skool, off of Facebook.
What I'm most excited about: increasing engagement, the KLT factor & ultimately sales from my ad funnel with Skool
  1. Unexpected benefit: Our refund request rate went down to 0, not including people who accidentally bought it twice (quite a few, surprisingly!).
2. This was really interesting because we offered a 7-day money back guarantee, and at the beginning had a a fairly high ratio of people ask for a refund when they bought... simply because of the structure (Facebook).
We switched to Skool, broke up the big video into smaller pieces, added cover graphics and voila... looks 10x better as a first impression and not a SINGLE refund request (apart from people purchasing twice) since we switched over a few weeks ago. Even though the content is pretty much the same!
Gotta say no regrets with starting with the FB group first though, it's critical to me that things get validated first before investing more time, effort & money into them!
3. We've added a Free Trainings vault in the Start Here section, with a mix of super valuable content. I focused on giving people a variety of content I thought they'd also be interested in - e.g. on pricing, sales, mindset and business growth.
  • short, bingeable 15 min videos & podcast episodes
  • longer trainings
  • paid workshop on pre-selling offers that I did
  • cheatsheets on pricing, etc
I love that a new member, or a new buyer, can join and see all the fun free things they have immediate access to!
4. For gamification, we've added:
  • Unlockable courses at every level (might add a few extra ones at Level 2 actually, since that's where most people will get to!)
  • A very clear Start Here + Get Points guide
  • Lots of reminders about how to get points + why to get points
  • We're going to do Leaderboard prizes and I've started sharing that that's happening, which people are loving! (Got this idea from )
5. For engagement, we're just ramping this up by asking lots of questions and I've invited some of my past + current clients into the space as well. And I'm basically just trying to be as helpful as possible!
6. Long-term, Skool is going to be an amazing lead magnet AND nurture process. I put up a post on my Facebook yesterday sharing that I have 3 new free trainings I've made, who wants them... 50+ responses just from that and new, engaged people in the community.
I really like 's community and that's been great inspiration as well, to just be HELPFUL. I think I got a bit jaded with the online space recently so it's been super inspiring to feel good about this :)
We're getting REALLY good feedback already and I'm getting to know my new buyers (from the low ticket funnel) way better. Ultimately, it comes down to building those relationships, and I'm excited to see how Skool is helping with that process!
