The most boring fat loss tool… that works stupidly well 🧠
Skool peeps, I’m going to ask you a slightly annoying question… What if fat loss wasn’t stuck because of your diet?? 🥲 What if it was something way simpler that most people ignore because it feels too stupidly basic? I recorded a Loom 🎥 about the habit that quietly fixes plateaus for a huge chunk of people I coach. And before you guess… It’s not: ❌ Fasted workouts ❌ More cardio sessions ❌ Eating less donuts It’s something that changes how many calories you burn every day without feeling like exercise. When people dial this in, I usually see: - Fat loss restart without changing calories - Better energy - Less pressure to “diet harder” - Less joint and body pain - Less hunger It’s extremely unsexy, which is exactly why people skip it. But once it clicks, mannn the changes. 👉 A lot of you already have this dialed in, but if you want the breakdown, comment MOVE and I’ll send it over. If you feel like you’re doing everything right but progress is slow… this might be why. I’ll even explain how you can lose 1 lbs a week with this habit without changing your food!

He’s not my real brother @Kevin Liu Although my older brother’s name is also Kevin Liu 😆 (legit brother from another mother) We met through basketball when I first moved to Bangkok. Fast forward to last year when my coaching business was thriving. Kevin got curious. He always thought his body was “okay”. He was comfortable. Never really thought twice about going through a structured program to help him get in shape. I guess hanging out with me often finally drove his interest to the point where he proposed a deal with me: “I will pay for your program in full. If you can help me get a six-pack in 3 months, given that I do the work, you will buy me the TV of my dreams” I thought to myself… “so he’s basically asking me to coach him for FREE”. I thought about it a little more. I know Kevin. If I help transform his life, he’s going to be a believer FOREVER. He’s going to talk about me very highly to his network. He’s going to refer me. The impact will spread even further. So I went with it. He was laser-focused. Showed up daily. Tracked his food. Sent me photos. Asked me a lot of questions. He learned FAST. 3 months later, not only did he achieve a six pack for the first time in his life at 40… his confidence skyrocketed, his energy stable, and his purpose in life took a major shift. “I need to be the best version of myself for my daughter. I want to be there (with energy) when she grows up.” I’m telling you guys — we are not a weight loss program. That’s an understatement. Even an insult ☺️ We arm you with the tools so build your best body. And then we sprinkle human support every day to ensure you get there smoothly. 😈 Protein vs The Scale Demon (Week 3 Challenge Reflection)
Week 3 F45 Studio of our Protein Challenge is officially done! Final score: 🔴 Team Red – 192 🔵 Team Blue – 148 (Me) Team Blue was not far behind though. Honestly the real win was seeing everyone push themselves to add more protein into their day. This challenge actually made me reflect back to when I first started trying to hit my protein goal. Let me be real… it was NOT easy. During the challenge conversations, I noticed something interesting. A lot of the ladies shared they were afraid to eat more protein because they thought it would make them gain weight. Some even fasted or skipped meals because the scale number was stressing them out. And that’s when I realized… 👉 The scale can become a little demon in our head. It makes us believe: • Eating more = gaining fat • Protein = weight gain • Scale up = failure But what many people don’t realize is: 💡 Protein helps preserve muscle while losing fat. 💡 Muscle supports your metabolism and strength. 💡 Body recomposition doesn’t always show up immediately on the scale. And yes… muscle is denser than fat, which can make the scale confusing sometimes. That’s why I’ve learned to look at progress in other ways too: • Strength gains in the gym • Inches lost • Clothes fitting better • Energy and recovery • Confidence Protein used to be hard for me to hit too. But like anything, it became easier with time and practice. So if you’re still struggling to reach your protein goal… Give yourself grace. You’re learning a new skill. And that alone is a BIG win. Be honest… did the Scale Demon 😈 mess with your head this week? Or did you defeat it and focus on strength and protein instead? 💪

Thursday wins
Yesterday at the gym one of the workouts was with the hexagonal barbell. Started lifting with 50kg x 10 rep, then 60 kg x 8 rep and the last with 70kg x 6 rep. Was hard but doing this without any back pain and after doing the step class the night before, is something I was so amazed. Because I can see that my strength is improving a lot. My coach congratulated me and told me I am becoming a beast 😂 I told him right way that I don’t want to be a HULK 🤪 Joking aside this was a great momentum for me for sure and a great win for this week 💪
