My step son came over today and the kids wanted Wingstop šŸ— Then… my partner was still hungry and wanted pizza šŸ• I went with them, but I didn’t eat—I was already full šŸ˜† After eating, my step son said: ā€œI ate so bad today… I’m gonna hit the gym and do extra cardio.ā€ I paused and asked, ā€œCan I share something my coach taught me?ā€ āœ… Coach @Darren Liu just posted this and shared my knowledge. He said yes šŸ™Œ I told him: šŸ‘‰ Don’t punish yourself with extra cardio or starving tomorrow šŸ‘‰ That just leads to burnout and feeling miserable Instead: ✨ Enjoy what you ate today ✨ Tomorrow → go back to your normal routine ✨ Hit your protein goals ✨ Train like you normally do BUT here’s the game changer šŸ‘‡ šŸš¶ā€ā™€ļø Daily steps (minimum 7K, no rest days) That’s what actually drives consistent fat loss without exhaustion. Hello Monday… yeah I’m alive. šŸ˜…šŸ‘‹ Sorry I’ve been on a little hiatus from Skool… life was LIFING. MBA ramping up + work go-live software updates + work audit support + kids musical performances + kid birthday parties… and ohhh exciting news: after my MBA I’m going to start the process to get nationally certified as a group fitness instructor šŸ„¹šŸ’Ŗ (more on that soon!) BUT… I still showed up today. Snow didn’t stop me from getting into the gym after kids’ school drop-off. ā„ļøšŸ‹ļøā€ā™€ļø And I hit Full Body Workout A and set 4 new PRs today!! šŸ”„šŸ‘ Also… yes I was squatting on the Smith machine with my heels on plates so I could get deeper into the squat without annoying my left knee that’s currently mad at me for excessive pickleball this weekend. šŸ„²šŸ˜‚ (We’re training smart, not stubborn.)
