My step son came over today and the kids wanted Wingstop 🍗
Then… my partner was still hungry and wanted pizza 🍕
I went with them, but I didn’t eat—I was already full 😆
After eating, my step son said:
“I ate so bad today… I’m gonna hit the gym and do extra cardio.”
I paused and asked,
“Can I share something my coach taught me?” ✅ Coach just posted this and shared my knowledge. He said yes 🙌
I told him:
👉 Don’t punish yourself with extra cardio or starving tomorrow
👉 That just leads to burnout and feeling miserable
Instead:
✨ Enjoy what you ate today
✨ Tomorrow → go back to your normal routine
✨ Hit your protein goals
✨ Train like you normally do
BUT here’s the game changer 👇
🚶♀️ Daily steps (minimum 7K, no rest days)
That’s what actually drives consistent fat loss without exhaustion.
His eyes lit up 💡
And my partner backed it up—he’s been seeing progress just from increasing his daily steps.
💬 Moral of the story:
Consistency > punishment
Sustainable habits > extreme reactions
