It's 6AM. You wake up and open the curtains. In front of you is the beautiful blue waters of the Andaman Sea. You wash down a large cup of water with electrolytes. You go to the kitchen and greet your new friends over a coffee. I'm one of those friends ā˜ŗļø You put on your walking shoes and go for a 30-minute walk with the gang. You come back to a spread of eggs, turkey bacon, fruit, protein shakes, and more coffee. You're not sure how to track the food, but good thing I'm there to show you exactly how. You go back to your room for some personal time. 11AM hits, and I'm waiting in the gym to show you how to properly train (finally šŸ˜†) We head to the sauna after, and we share our goals and dreams. We do a mobility session together and rest for a few hours. It's 6PM, and dinner is served. Your meal is optimized for your calorie and macro goals + you get a side of bone broth 🤩 We end the night with a short but sweet lesson on how to optimize your sleep. You head to bed, and we do it again tomorrow. So... I actually had the pleasure of taking part in an experience like this last year on the beautiful island of Koh Samui at a luxury called Villa Solana. I became good friends with the honorable guests there, including three Miss Universe Thailand's šŸ˜‰ (how lucky am I) and one of the top Thai female fitness influencers (@befitwithjess). There's really nothing like a 3-day unplugging getaway where your main focus is yourself... but with an awesome support system to top it off. Always good to start your day (and/or end your day) listings out what you’re grateful for. I feel it helps me rewire my thoughts and my perception of how things are going in my life. If you perceive everything as being IN YOUR FAVOR, then you can’t loseāœŒļø Shitty day? What’s the lesson? Have an injury? That means more time for ___. Today I’m grateful for: - Having abled legs to walk to coffee - Having the opportunity to coach a kid in bball at an amazing sports facility - Have the ability to choose what to eat - Having a device to be able to communicate with my lovely Skool members around the world Your turn! šŸ‘‡šŸ‘‡

Sunday Funday šŸ–¤ Small moment… big ripple.
Told my partner my black Metcons were wearing out, so we made a quick stop at the Nike outlet to replace them. Women’s side? No cute colors. Men’s side? Found the SAME black pair I bought last year (they run small—size 7 fit a little big but I’m rolling with it). Then I see my partner trying on the same shoe color as mine. I’m confused like… ā€œWhy are you trying Metcons? You know I only use these for HIIT + strength.ā€ He goes: ā€œWell… you always tell me you need your ammo when you go to the gym. One shoe for walking, one shoe for lifting. I want to start training… doing RDLs. I was hoping you could teach me when you’re at 24 Hour Fitness šŸ˜³ā€ Y’all… I did NOT see that coming. He even said: ā€œMy girlfriend is a badass. I’m just following your footsteps.ā€ 🄹🄹🄹 That opened up a whole convo about why he wants to lift heavier. Honestly? His reason is mostly aesthetic — and you know what? That’s OK. If that’s his ā€œwhyā€ and it gets him under the bar, I’m here for it. What sparked it was me calling him out (lovingly šŸ˜…): He takes ~45 min workouts, rests like 30 seconds between sets, and moves on. I told him straight up: šŸ‘‰ If you can recover in 10–30 seconds, you probably aren’t pushing hard enough. šŸ‘‰ On my chest press days, I take the FULL 3 minutes before sets 2 & 3 because I’m lifting HEAVY. Moral of the story: It took me by surprise, but it felt REALLY good knowing my partner trusts my process enough to let me lead him. Especially knowing he’s Mexican and carries a lot of pride — I never expected him to ask. But here we are. Quiet wins. Lead by example. Energy ripples. And sometimes… it starts with shoes. šŸ–¤šŸ‘Ÿ
