Busy gym 😱
Ooo hoo, I ran out of the gym last night after just 1 exercise 🫣 🏃‍♀️💨. Grazy. Normally I train very early before work, but yesterday I did it just once, in the evening,after dinner. It was so incredibly busy at the gym! Everything was taken. But hey..I continued at home😌, though with slightly lighter weights 🏋️ but with more time under tension. How are things at your Gym?
2 weeks down
Just completed the 2nd week this morning. That’s the win. Otherwise I am bit of a mess. I’m frustrated about the lack of cardio, lack of sleep and lack of mental acuity going on this week. I’ll finally get 8 hours of sleep tonight. Super long 14 hour day tomorrow. I need to get in a run at some point this weekend. I think I am fairly cranky and I feel like I have gained 5 pounds. I’m also a bad friend. I haven’t checked in on any of you this week. Are you doing okay? You have made it through your week, pushing past the struggles and accomplishing your goals??!! I hope so!!
My Mistakes
I don't have a progression plan. I did the same workout for around a year with time where I couldn't go to the gym. Currently I do THX workout, Boxing and Barbell (with low wight) as it also has cardio parts. Do I count them in? I would chose Program 1 as I will continue with my classes mentioned above.
Priorities!!
Team, I am going in late to work today because I had to get my workout in this morning! It’s been a long week. I have slept less than 6 hours a night for the last four nights, but I am going to get a full 8 hours tonight with a long work day tomorrow. But, I have done 3 of my 4 days of lifting this week as this is the first of the eight weeks. I’ll do my 4th day tomorrow morning. I had to take 2 days off this week because of only sleeping 4-5 hours the night before. So, I’m getting my 4th day in tomorrow. Also, I haven’t lifted legs in a couple of years because I switched to lifting at home instead of at a gym. Wasn’t motivated to lift legs with no equipment. That’s when I picked up running. Anyway, I lifted legs on Tuesday and then had an unexpected leg workout pushing some equipment across a field that same day and I could barely walk Wednesday and yesterday. Over did it! 😅 I was so tired this morning, that I turned off my alarm and was thinking of skipping lifting today, but decided to just go into work late. I may not be the most responsible employee, but I am apparently a responsible weight lifter! I surprise myself sometimes!! Have a good weekend all!!
