🏁 Sunday Playoff Prep – Strategy Over Speed
Tried my first F45 Training Playoff format today and tracked both rounds: ➡️ Round 1: 327 pts ➡️ Round 2: 331 pts Biggest takeaway… Going all out doesn’t always mean better results. Round 1, I came in HOT 🔥Round 2, I came in SMART 🧠 I paced myself, controlled my breathing, and focused on moving efficiently through all 10 stations: Rowing → Bench Hops → Push-Up Knee Tucks → Lateral Hops → Burpee + Box Jump → Chin-Ups (skipped intentionally) → Squat & Press → Russian Twists → Deadball Over Shoulder Throw → Shuttle Sprint + Lateral Hops 👉 I strategically skipped chin-ups to reserve my energy so I could perform stronger on Squat & Press and the final stations and it paid off. Lesson learned: It’s not about going beast mode from the start…It’s about managing your energy so you don’t gas out halfway. Funny moment of the day 😅10am training… crickets 🦗It started as just me and Coach Bobby (hello nerves 😳 1:1 training!) Then two more ladies showed up after warm-up and I was like… okay, I can breathe now 😂 Coach Bobby said: “Not bad for your first time.”I’ll take that 💪 Takeaway: Strategy > SpeedControl > Chaos You don’t need to go all out…You need to go in with a plan. Question:Have you ever performed better by pacing yourself instead of going all out? 👇
