New setback- injury
Hi all, was on the way back on track. Now I've a shoulder injury with heavy inflammation and I'm not allowed to move my arm. I can't move it without heavy pain. Have wonderful "sling" for it. Have to take alot of pain medication and need to eat before otherwise my stomach can't handle it. Hopefully it takes only two weeks to get movements back and then to start slow again. It's kinda frustrating. 😕 also feels a bit like losing control.

🎙️RECORDING: May 5, 2026
We're already in May? Holy shit. We talked about: - pain in the knees (see a specialist!) - hard to stay in deficit with the last few pounds - how to train without a gym - Where you burn calories in a day (my lesson for the day) News 🔥: I'm going to run a FREE COACHING SCHOLARSHIP campaign shortly. Stay tuned! This community gets first dibs on entries! ♥️

🏁 Sunday Playoff Prep – Strategy Over Speed
Tried my first F45 Training Playoff format today and tracked both rounds: ➡️ Round 1: 327 pts ➡️ Round 2: 331 pts Biggest takeaway… Going all out doesn’t always mean better results. Round 1, I came in HOT 🔥Round 2, I came in SMART 🧠 I paced myself, controlled my breathing, and focused on moving efficiently through all 10 stations: Rowing → Bench Hops → Push-Up Knee Tucks → Lateral Hops → Burpee + Box Jump → Chin-Ups (skipped intentionally) → Squat & Press → Russian Twists → Deadball Over Shoulder Throw → Shuttle Sprint + Lateral Hops 👉 I strategically skipped chin-ups to reserve my energy so I could perform stronger on Squat & Press and the final stations and it paid off. Lesson learned: It’s not about going beast mode from the start…It’s about managing your energy so you don’t gas out halfway. Funny moment of the day 😅10am training… crickets 🦗It started as just me and Coach Bobby (hello nerves 😳 1:1 training!) Then two more ladies showed up after warm-up and I was like… okay, I can breathe now 😂 Coach Bobby said: “Not bad for your first time.”I’ll take that 💪 Takeaway: Strategy > SpeedControl > Chaos You don’t need to go all out…You need to go in with a plan. Question:Have you ever performed better by pacing yourself instead of going all out? 👇

My Mistakes
I don't have a progression plan. I did the same workout for around a year with time where I couldn't go to the gym. Currently I do THX workout, Boxing and Barbell (with low wight) as it also has cardio parts. Do I count them in? I would chose Program 1 as I will continue with my classes mentioned above.

When the Inner Circle Becomes Outer World Magic ✨ (BBB Meet-Up)
Had the opportunity to meet up with @Jennifer Crafton and finally meet her amazing daughter, Cheyenne and they also met my family. My family had so much fun spending time with them, and the connection was effortless and genuine. What started as an online connection through the BBB Inner Circle turned into a real-life meet up that felt like we had known each other for a long time. That’s the power of being part of a meaningful community and it brings people together in unexpected but beautiful ways. I’m truly blessed and grateful for @Jennifer Crafton for her time, her warmth, and for allowing us to share such a special experience together as families. “Time” is the biggest gift anyone can give because it can’t be bought. It requires someone to intentionally choose to spend it with you and that was the greatest gift @Jennifer Crafton gave me. 💛 Moments like this are a reminder that real connection can grow far beyond a screen.

I'm 40 years and trying to get back to a healthier life with less sweets and more sport. I also want to be an better role model for my daughter.
