Last time for this month that I‘m clocking out for the day! Just over 10k steps and the training ring only closed due to walks from one place to another 😂 Good night everyone and thanks to all you amazing people who joined us in this challenge ❤️
HYROX friends… I need all the tips! 🔥🏁
My gym is offering HYROX training starting in August, and it will be held every Saturday for 15 weeks. I’m excited, nervous, and very curious because HYROX feels like a whole different beast — strength, endurance, running, pacing, and mindset all in one. For those who are doing HYROX or thinking about it, are you joining a training program in your area too? I know different gyms may offer HYROX-style prep, so I would love to hear how everyone is training for it. For anyone who has done HYROX or is currently training, please share your wisdom: 👉 Have you tried the HYROX gels? 👉 Do you carry your own water? 👉 Any fueling tips before or during the race? 👉 Any hacks for the sled push, sled pull, wall balls, farmers carry, or running in between stations? 👉 What helped you most with pacing so you don’t burn out too fast? I’m open to all the tips, tricks, lessons learned, and “I wish I knew this before” advice. Let’s make this a HYROX knowledge-share thread for everyone training or curious about it. We can all learn from each other and get stronger together 💪🔥

@Lena Nguyen I’m not super strong and I can’t push/pull heavy weights so it feels a bit intimidating seeing all those people do that. And even with what Coach Darren usually says „No one cares“ I still can’t bring myself to try it 🤷‍♀️

Feeling like a zombie 🧟
I went to bed early on Monday knowing the q&a is early Tuesday. Sadly it’s that time of month and I woke up in the middle of the night with pain unable to fall back asleep. 😩 Up until last year, having only 2-4 hours of sleep didn’t matter much. But now my body is really attached to have at least 6-7 hours each night. I‘m thankful though to have adapted my sleep schedule since I‘m way more productive during daytime. So today will just be a day were I drag myself from schooling for my new job, to meeting with a friend (can’t wait to see her again after a long time😍) and back to uni classes tonight. Not every day is perfect and I know my tricks to get through this but I still pray to survive the day 🙏🤣 Hope your Tuesday passes smoothly! 💕

@Lena Nguyen Having a full 8 hours sleep is challenging for me too but a schedule is a schedule and if it works then that’s great 😁 My eyes nearly closed while driving this morning, most scary moment ever! Yes cold water is magical, it really was my partner today. 😂 Day is nearly over so after dinner my head will hit the pillow right away! 💤😴

Today I decided to go for a walk to go somewhere and man that turned out to be a lot. I also finished my workout with some PRs.
