âď¸ Automation is the last thing you need to worry about
Automation is awesome, but a lot of people invest on it way too early instead of focusing on the stuff that really matters in the early stages. There are a lot of things you need to figure our before you can get any return of investment from automation. It only makes sense to invest on fancy automation solutions once you have a solid process and a decent number of audience/members/clients. Here is a detailed breakdown on what you need to worry about at each stage of your online business building and what are the priorities at each one. 1. Getting started đââď¸: - The first thing you need to figure out is what your business is about, what problems it solves and who is going to benefit from it. - Don't be in a hurry to figure things out. Gather feedback, ask for help, research what people really are asking for and be ready to reinvent yourself as many times as necessary. - At this stage it makes more sense investing on consulting from experts than on fancy tools and contractors to set them up. A lot of people make the mistake of investing in tech before doing a proper market research and establishing their brand accordingly. 2. Establish your online presence đ¤ - After you have a solid plan on what your business is going to be you should figure out where your potential clients hang out. Based on that you create your online presence. We got Skool, Facebook, Reddit, LinkedIn, freelancing websites, job posting pages and many other places to establish our presence. Create your profiles/communities/pages in those and start conecting. - We can also count our own private websites for that. Having your own website not only gives you autonomy to present your brand the exact way you want but also gives you credibility. Having an oficial registered business with a physical location on Google Maps on top of that also goes a long way on increasing your visibility and credibility. - Having an online presence includes both having our own pages in several places and also interacting with people in big pages and communities. Hang out at subreddits, facebook groups, communities, support forums and any other place where your people are. Don't only self promote, but help people, teach something, deliver value. I made an incredible live event on @Nick Nebelsky 's community going over that on detail.
