I’m Exploring a New Way to Support Serious Group Owners — I’d Love Your Thoughts
I’ve been thinking a lot about how to better support CLASSIFIEDS members who are actively growing their Skool groups and who want more than a place to post - specifically, more visibility, stronger relationships, and meaningful opportunities to collaborate. 🗺️ I’m exploring the idea of a small, curated cohort for group owners who are committed to helping each other grow in practical, generous ways. If you’ve been part of a mastermind before, this might look a little different from what you’re picturing, and that’s intentional. 🧭 Here’s the rough direction I’m considering: - A very small group (intentionally capped around 10-15) - Members who are actively growing paid or monetized groups - Monthly, facilitated sessions focused on: collaboration, cross-promotion, and reciprocal teaching/sharing - Opportunities for members to be featured or highlighted publicly through interviews or collaborations 💵 This wouldn’t be a traditional coaching program or a hot-seat-heavy mastermind. The value would come from: - The people in the room - The relationships formed - And the collective momentum created through collaboration It also wouldn’t be for everyone, and that’s by design. The goal would be quality, alignment, and follow-through, not scale. 💕 I’d love your input on one thing (no pressure to answer everything although you can if you would like): - What part of this sounds most valuable to you? - What questions would you have if you were considering something like this? - If you’ve never joined a small cohort like this before, what would help you understand whether it’s a good fit? There’s nothing to “opt into” yet, I’m simply gathering perspective as I shape the idea. Thank you for being part of this community and for helping me build things that actually serve the people here. I'm really excited about this next chapter! 🎉

@Shannon Boyer People looking to start to monetize their group and who want to work together, so we can all learn from each other and help each other grow.
What Type of Dog Person are You?
There are different types of dog people! I’ve noticed a few distinct “dog-person types” that keep repeating, and I think the type you are shapes the kind of dog you bond with (and the kind of dog you struggle with). These are four types I’ve identified so far (definitely not exhaustive): 1) The Nervous-System Reader You don’t just train behaviour, you read state. You notice thresholds, micro-signals, recovery time. You’re more interested in regulation than control. 2) The Devotee / The Belonger Your dog is not a pet. Your dog is kin. You organise your life around them without resentment. You’re deeply relational, often fiercely loyal, and you take responsibility seriously. 3) The Structure Builder You love dogs, but you love clarity even more. You’re consistent, boundary-forward, and you feel most connected when you and your dog have a shared system (routines, cues, expectations). 4) The Romantic Chaos Gremlin You like wildness. You’re not scared of “too much dog.” You thrive in the mess of personality, spontaneity, big feelings and big play. You sometimes underestimate how quickly chaos becomes dysregulation. This list isn’t exhaustive at all. If none of these fit, describe your dog-person type in the comments (one sentence), and describe your dog in one sentence too.

Bit of a blend of devotee and structure I think for me.

@Stevi-Lee Alver Yep, I'm sure you're right.
Careful with the DMs, please
Just a reminder that soliciting members in any way through the DMs is strictly prohibited in this group. The entire point of this group is to promote yourself and share your links while building genuine connections. If someone wants more information, they will reach out to you. You can DM people to ask about THEIR communities or if they have invited you to message them. Soliciting in the DMs is grounds for removal from the group. If someone DMs you inappropriately, please let me know. Thanks! If people think this group is spammy, they will leave, and that hurts us all. 😊

100% with you on this one. I've had to deal with it a couple of times already, really disappointing and lazy to be honest.
11 Days On Skool. Approaching Top 100 & 500+ Members. When did you make your community paid?
11 days ago, I had zero members on Skool. Today, we're approaching Top 100 in the Money category. I didn't have a massive following. I am yet to share on any of my socials, and I haven't had a team promoting for me. Here's what I've done: — Posted ~3-5 times per day on avg. — Lead with value and be personable — Welcomed every single new member — Rewarded the early members publicly — Announced something exciting almost daily The result? 450+ members. 7,000+ engagements. And momentum I can feel. The biggest lesson? People don't just want content. They want to feel like they're part of something being built. Start messy. Build in public, and the audience will come. A question I have for the group though -- at what point did you make your community paid? I'm trying to figure out the right timing. Do I flip the switch at 1,000 members? 2,000? Or is it less about the number and more about something else? For those of you who've done this before; what worked? What would you do differently? Drop your thoughts below. I'd love to learn from the group. 👇
