Seeking Traffic Expert Takeover While I’m at Skool IRL in Antarctica 🇦🇶
I run the Shopify Growth Collective....a Shopify-focused community with a VIP level made up of product-based founders who are actively building, implementing, and investing in their stores. The audience is thoughtful, engaged, and focused on real results (not shiny tactics). I’ll be heading to the Skool IRL in Antarctica next month (WOOT!!), which means I’ll be dealing with unpredictable Wi-Fi and potentially inconsistent calls for most of February. Rather than pause momentum, I thought it would be fun to put together a Traffic Expert Takeover inside my Shopify community. February is already Traffic Month for us....and traffic isn’t my lane. I’m a Shopify UX / on-site conversion strategist, not a traffic expert, and I normally bring in outside specialists at this time of year anyway. This time, I’d love to open the doors to collaboration with other Skool community owners, creating space for traffic experts to step in, share their expertise with my audience, build trust, and expand their own visibility and community in the process, while keeping mine active and well supported while I’m away. What I am thinking... Each expert would host one 60-minute live session any time in February: - Either 60 minutes of live Q&A - Or 30 minutes education + 30 minutes Q&A - Focused on how your traffic lane applies to Shopify store owners It’s a great opportunity to: - Speak to a Shopify-specific audience - Practice teaching to founders who ask good questions - Build trust and visibility in a peer-led environment This is not a pitch fest... it’s collaboration, trust-building, and real value. Traffic lanes I’m looking for - UGC / creator systems - TikTok (organic, paid, or TikTok Shop... honest takes) - Live shopping / live selling - Meta ads (Shopify-smart) - Email marketing for product-based brands - Or if you are a expert in driving traffic to Shopify stores in some other way feel free to let me know wha tyou do. If this feels aligned...or if there’s another traffic lane you think would genuinely help Shopify founders... please comment. I’ll be curating this intentionally and keeping the group small.

@Jen Ritchie this would be so much fun! I know you are such a fun person and I bet your members are just as cool. I could be interested in being a host for the week. Did you already find people?? @Mike Pirie thanks for thinking of me.
Calm Cashflow Masterclass is happening now!!!
Join @Lisa Drennon for this amazing masterclass now. Check out the calendar for more info! Calm Cash Flow Workshop: Turn Money Chaos Into a Simple Money Map If money feels loud, this gives you the calm. Calm cash flow is what happens when your money finally has a plan and your nervous system finally has proof you’re safe. As a single mom who filed for bankruptcy at 22 and then went on to rack up $100K of debt years later (even while “doing everything right”) I can tell you this: Money problems are rarely math problems. They’re relationship problems. If money feels loud, chaotic, confusing, or like it slips through your fingers, no matter how much you make, this workshop is for you. Calm Cashflow Workshop. In 90 minutes, I’m going to help you build your Money Map, a simple system that shows you: - where your money is going (without shame) - how to plug the “strainer holes” so money stops disappearing - how to set up money pods (buckets) so you can save, spend, and grow money with calm confidence - what to do during high months + low months so you stop panicking and start leading - Mini-win you’ll leave with: ✅ a clear Money Map + one weekly money rhythm you can actually keep If you’re ready for money to feel calmer, not because you’re restricting yourself but because you finally have a plan you trust then reserve Thursday, January 22nd at 3 PM EST as your date with money. Check the Calendar for the Zoom link and remember: It doesn’t matter how much money you have-it’s what you do with it 🗝️🌬️💖💸

The REAL Reason I Started Menopause Skool ~ No Filters!
Hey everyone! My name is Melissa and some of you know I own Menopause Skool ~ a place for ladies to learn about hormonal issues and create their own balance! I didn't just wake up one day and say, "I want to help women with hot flashes and brain fog". Not at all ~ I learned the hard way ~ ignoring your hormones can wreck your long-term health! My hormonal imbalance caused cardiac issues that I will live with for life. I developed an irregular heartbeat, called PVCs (Premature Ventricular Contractions). The medications to treat my condition were horrible for me, so the other option was surgical intervention. I had Cardiac Ablation to get my heart back in rhythm. Also, my mitral valve was damaged & I have testing twice per year to monitor the status ~ I may need heart valve replacement in the future. Keep your health on track with the right knowledge, tools and strategies to prevent hormonal imbalance from stealing your longevity. You're never too young to prevent hormonal imbalance, and you're never too old to learn how to protect your health going forward. Join us in Menopause Skool today to get started on your path to better health!

Kevin Suarez Sabugo is a Skool tool tech genius! He's the owner of Skool Automation. So many people want to be able to schedule posts. Well here is your chance! Yeah, I probably should've lead with that. But here's why I came back to post here. Yesterday, they announced something even bigger than post scheduling. Think ManyChat ... for Skool. DM automation that will help you send DMs to members when they "comment SKOOL" or such. The Community Flow is a nightly update of your community. YES, you can already download a csv but what if it just did it every night for you? This is the first tool of Kevin's I ever used when I started admin'ing for a community of 500+ people. It was the easiest way to filter by membership questions, levels and all sorts of other data. There's a tab for activation which helps with onboarding new members. Another tab for retention which helps with potential churn.

@Shannon Boyer I should have tagged @Kevin Suarez Sabugo. He has made some amazing tools!! I asked him for something else that would help with managing & moderating larger communities. 🤞 Anything that makes life easier!!
Would this be valuable to you?
I've been thinking a lot over the past several months about the idea of a CLASSIFIEDS Directory. I've always kind of called the Classroom our directory, but several people have mentioned that it would be nice to have things organized according to topic/industry/niche, which prompted me to ask you all about organizing the community that way (we/I decided against it for several reasons). If I were to do it, it would be one "course" in the classroom with a page for each industry. It would be available to annual premium member and VIP members (when I release VIP) with VIP members having top billing, and it would be updated monthly. Here are my concerns: 1. It would be a lot of work to create and update, and I'm not sure if the ROI would be there in terms of increased visibility. 2. There are a lot of other sites (ProveWorth and others) that are doing a great job at letting people list their communities as well as many Skool groups that now are sharing directories. Do we really need another directory??? 3. Having a course in the classroom that people can easily scroll through is already a pretty prominent visibility opportunity and it rotates weekly, so everyone has a chance to be on the first page. 4. It's a lot of work. Did I mention it's a lot of work??? 5. The only benefit above the ads already posted in the classroom would be that it could be sorted by niche. 6. Skool is going to do a lot of improving this year to searchability and discoverability, so there may no longer be a need for this in the near future. I'm going to post a picture below of what an entry would look like. I'm super curious about your thoughts! Please share below and don't hold back. All opinions are welcome! 😊

@Shannon Boyer yeah, I’m looking from the pov of how much work that other way is going to cost. For clarification would the directory replace the course “ads”?

@Shannon Boyer ok that helps. Here’s my pushback… - the course ads allow for creativity of the owner - leave the design & build work + updates up to the owner who is advertising - directory will add massive amounts of work to your plate or whoever has to manage the upkeep of the directory. Processing how to say the other parts… I’ll be back…
