So I've been hinting about an upcoming trip to both Ireland and the Mediterranean for the last bit. Well that trip starts tomorrow with 2 days in the big city where I actually will get a chance to go to some Niche. Perfumeries and specialty stores as well as a very high-end department store. So looking for some recommendations of Niche and other high-end fragrances to potentially try out. Some rules to make it interesting is that I'm hoping to get a few travel size or samples to take with me on the trip especially for the Mediterranean cruise section. However, all recommendations appreciated! Also feel free to recommend stuff that I should take with me on the trip as I haven't haven't figured out everything to take. Leaning obviously to warmer weather fragrances, but also probably need a few for the non on-mediterranean legs of the trip. Looking forward to the suggestions!

Shalimar for connoisseurs. This French perfume house has been in existence since 1720 and is renowned for its use of particularly exquisite ingredients. “Empire des Indes” is sweet, resinous, and powdery. Warm tonka bean and the Indian fragrance blend “Nag Champa” make me feel as if I were in an ancient temple surrounded by sweet incense sticks. A great vintage fragrance that was reissued in 2012, but is based on a recipe that is over 100 years old.

So I had never given to the hype on this house and never tried it. I did let someone I trust further influence me not to try it. But recently I got a fantastic deal on the second hand market and the fragrance I got I really like it. The lesson I learned in that though I heavily respect an opinion I have to always think for myself and try things even though others may be critical or not like it. So brothers and sisters let me hear your thoughts and recommendations on this house. So Far I have Seamless Soul.
