This French perfume house has been in existence since 1720 and is renowned for its use of particularly exquisite ingredients.
“Empire des Indes” is sweet, resinous, and powdery. Warm tonka bean and the Indian fragrance blend “Nag Champa” make me feel as if I were in an ancient temple surrounded by sweet incense sticks.
A great vintage fragrance that was reissued in 2012, but is based on a recipe that is over 100 years old.
