Scirocco by Moresque
A spicy leather warm desert-wind, with a sweet rose and slightly fruity opening. Apple, saffron, and orange dominate at first. Then it becomes significantly deeper with cardamom, Damask rose, elemi resin, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Finally, leather notes, musk (the all-purpose weapon), tonka bean, vanilla, amber, and cedarwood are added. Patchouli is also supposed to be in there... but I don't notice it here. The pleasure lasts for 8 hours.

Bois Bleu by Robert Piguet
A classic fougère with a little more punch... in the style of Houbigant. Bergamot, vetiver, nutmeg, cedarwood, lavender, and sandalwood. Although coumarin and oakmoss are missing here, this does not detract from the fresh, citrusy, green experience. The pleasure of this rare brand lasts for 4-5 hours.

Grand Soir by Maison Francis Kurkdjian
A modern legend! In my opinion, the best fragrance from MFK. Sweet and resinous without being “sticky.” A gourmand that doesn't want to be one, but still leaves every dessert behind. Although it has a somewhat linear progression, it lasts for over a day! Ingredients: Siam benzoin, vanilla, Spanish labdanum, tonka bean, Ceylon cinnamon leaf, lavender.

It’s going to be a fantastic day! Popping on another tropical vibe this morning to call in the good energy. This is a very strong fruity fragrance that showcases mango and pineapple right off the rip. The citrus keeps the main players lifted high like a pyramid of cheerleaders there strictly for support. It’s bright, bubblegummy, and straight up juice box vibes. I’m instantly taken back to growing up, playing football in the streets hot, sweaty, exhausted and then break time hits. That juice box? Man… it just hit different. That’s exactly what this is hood, sugary tropical juice in fragrance form. As it dries down, you start to pick up warmer woods and a touch of dryness, but it still has that juicy tropical identity. It stays fun, playful, and vibrant. I actually like it. Would I sprint out to buy a full bottle? Probably not it’s a bit situational but it’s still a really good, fun fragrance. For a freshie, this thing hits hard. Projection is wild, longevity feels like it’ll go the distance, and I’m glad I went light on the sprays because it’s absolutely pumping off the skin. If you love tropical, fruity, fun fragrances, this one’s worth checking out for sure. Have an amazing day, Brotherhood and good luck Patriots? Broncos? But most importantly… GO RAMS! 🐏

Sounds cool… and a friendly bottle as well…

Yes, it's true…..really! Filippo Sorcinelli is not only a creative perfumer, but also one of the Pope's tailors! He also makes music and paints... a true multi-talent. The fragrance “Ennui Noir” translates as “Black Boredom”... But that's very far from reality, because it's not boring at all! But myrrh, cedarwood, patchouli, heliotrope, and vanilla make it really dark, like an old Roman chapel. Add to that 8 hours of longevity... “Niche heart”... what more could you want? (German proverb)

@Frank Barnett It is certainly a fragrance for “advanced” wearers...but it is quite wearable and not unpleasant for other people. However, you should like earthy, woody notes. Good for a dark autumn night...but not for a first date...or a second, third, or fourth date either. :-)
