SOTD ā Arancia di Capri by Acqua di Parma (Blu Mediterraneo)
Good morning, Brotherhood! Yesterday the sun was shining, and it was a gorgeous day, so I sprayed on some sunshine vibes in a bottle courtesy of @George Hernandez. Thank you brother, truly appreciate it! Acqua di Parma Arancia di Capri was launched in 1999, and itās still banginā to this day. Arancia di Capri translates to āOrange of Capri,ā which is exactly what this fragrance is. This is one of the most photorealistic fragrances Iāve ever experienced, it captures the ripe juiciness of a mandarin orange and its rind. Itās a bright, aromatic fragrance with a deep orange citrus opening that makes you feel like youāre walking through an orange grove in the sunshine. Absolutely captivating, in my opinion. As this beauty dries down, the slightest touch of caramel and musk gives a soft sweetness to the orange and adds a little boost in projection. Think back to cruising through the mall and walking past an Orange Julius⦠you pop in, grab that cold, creamy orange drink, and take a sip. Thatās exactly the vibe I get, a total time machine moment. Now letās talk performance⦠The first time I wore this, I thought it stopped projecting after about two hours because I couldnāt smell a bit of it on myself. But to my surprise, when I walked in to see my family and gave them all a quick hug, they all said, āDamn T-Bone, you smell gooood!ā (Thatās my nickname.) Guess I went a little nose blind, which is a bummer because I really love this profile. The second wear, I hit myself with about 10 sprays and got around 4 hours of good usability, with a skin scent lingering for a couple hours more, which isnāt too shabby. Overall, this is a great unisex, situational fragrance thatās perfect for anyone looking for something different from the typical citrus lineup. Itās unique, stands out from the rest, and works beautifully on a warm day with the family or any casual event. Iām giving this beauty a 7.9/10, and it would be higher if it lasted a bit longer.
