Good-Bye I guess
As Antonio will be cutting out the non-payers like me in a few days, I believe, I just wanted to say that I've enjoyed this group albeit I've not been particularly active or as active as some and this just cannot justify paying for this. Wishing everyone the best in all of their endeavors.
HOUSE OF CREED
Hopefully I can convince my Wife to make this purchase for me for Christmas after all the Fragrances I’ve purchased in the last two months , I have to think of a plan , any suggestions 😂

Good luck...I still just buy samples of Aventus...Its my fave by Creed. I tried Absolu and Centaurus and Oud Zarian-all good and I wouldn't turn my nose if gifted...but still prefer Aventus. I bought my GF and I their wallet sampler a few years ago and still have some left.
Thought experiment - Price per wear
I was doing some chores and I ended up washing off my SOTD, which was Mancera Black Noir, so I just reapplied, not a big deal. Then my ADHD brain starting thinking, what would I pay per wear? We have daily routines that have a small cost, coffee, tea, protein shakes, etc, but these are almost always daily, like our frags. So here is my thought experiment with a few test, high, medium, low. Of course these are all subjective High End ======== 1. Mind Games Mentor - $475 2. Curly Fragrance's test for 1ml - about 15sprays I spray this one about 7-8 sprays, so effectively this bottle would get me 200 wears, $475/200 = $2.75 per wear. I think that is a reasonable price to smell that good for a few hours. That costs less than a drip coffee at any coffee shop. Medium ======== 1. City Rhythm 100ml - $190 2. Curly Fragrance's test for 1ml - about 15sprays I spray this one about 7-8 sprays, which gets me about 200 sprays. $190/200 = $.96 per wear, this s getting crazy, you can't even get anything at the dollar store for that! Low ===== 1. Zara Rich Warm Addictive = $30 2. Curly Fragrance's test for 1ml - about 15sprays I put about 15 sprays for this one, which gets me about 100 wears. $30/100 = $.30 per wear, can you even buy anything that cheap anymore? Those numbers, above, assume you pay retail and every atomizer sprays the same amount, but you get the idea. We don't pay retail for most, so the cost per wear is even better. So do the math with what you got and what would you pay to smell that good. For me to smell good and have an olfactory experience throughout the day this is a no brainer, I could wear Mentor twice a day and still be cheaper than Starbucks. What would you pay, now that you do the math and now would you consider nicer bottles, knowing the cost per wear is reasonable?

I haven't analyzed it like this, but I don't buy bottles unless its really a favorite. I think I have 6-7 bottles, but have only bought 1 in the past year, YSL Tuxedo. Bought Dior Savage Elixir a few years back and have some old Fahrenheit, YSL Homme, Guerlain Homme and Realm(old) on the shelf...pretty minimal. I think my next will have to be LV Imagination...I love that stuff!

I am running out of room especially on my niche shelf. I really need to sell or trade these Bonds and Creeds. Still thankful for every bottle especially some very special gifts I got from my Brother @Paul Bartnicki. It’s amazing mind boggling even how we have basically become family in such a short time I wouldn’t have it any other way. Any recommendations are welcome beyond giving away frags lol.

BOS Paid Subscription!
Good morning Brothers! I want to start by saying that this message is coming directly from me, and that @Antonio Cent has nothing to do with what I’m about to post. I have given this post a lot of thought, and want to make sure that I come across respectfully to all of you. What value do you place on the information, relationships, and friendships gained through this community? I understand the importance of being frugal, and being able to acquire knowledge at no cost, but as a business person I also understand high level value. To me, the information and friendships that I have developed within this community far outweigh the cost of a couple of cups of coffee a month. If you consider the amount of money you save by getting information on fragrances that you would like to own, getting information on sales at different discount websites, being able to exchange samples/decants with Brothers who you trust, and getting unfiltered information about a fragrance from someone you know and trust - this all has a far greater value than the modest monthly subscription. In full transparency, I just signed up for the yearly subscription because to me that just made sense. I will be part of this community for the long haul so I might as well get the best subscription possible. If you are a level seven, eight, or nine, then you are an active member of this community and should be getting high value. Let’s come together and support @Antonio O. Centeno so that he can enhance the community and provide an even greater value to us as we move forward! If you do not agree with me, I understand, and that’s OK. I felt the need to express my views on this subject since I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

I appreciate the info and camaraderie, here and at the other brotherhood forums. That being said I find myself trying to live more fully and focus on things off the internet and posting less here and on social in general, so to pay for something I check in on weekly or less- I think the writing is on the wall for me. Best to all, whichever way you choose to go.
