Wins and Gratitude
I hesitate to post this as it's not directly fragrance related, but I'll see if I can tie it together. Just over a year ago I had a nasty bicycle accident and it took a few months to recover, but I wasn't able to get back in the saddle again emotionally for quite a while. But as a 35-year diabetic, I know how important cycling has been to my diabetes management. Yesterday, I had a VERY encouraging diabetes check-up (A1c down to 6.2%) and I decided it's time to get back on the bike to keep my numbers low. So today was my first ride in a year, and yes, it sucked. But I did it and it makes getting back on the bike easier for the next ride. So how does this tie into fragrances? Since joining this community at the end of 2025, I've felt myself becoming a little more positive on a daily basis. Whether it's the community, the pleasure of wearing something nice each day, or early onset senility, who knows? But it's a change I want to continue. So I'm feeling very positive today. (Don't ask me tomorrow when I can't move my legs, but for today, it's all good.) Thanks, brothers, for this encouraging community. SOTD: By the Yuzu Grove Galleria Parfums
BoS Generosity and Kindness strikes again!
Good day gents, today I want to give a massive shout-out to @Mark DiCiero . After me being vocal of wanting to test out some Roja fragrances and planning to include them in my next decant haul, Mark kindly offered to set me up instead. I am mighty impressed with every single one Mark was kind to include. 1. Oceania, which was my primary target. 2. Enigma Parfum. I would probablly never have looked at it with such a floral heavy noe breakdown, but oh man, I would've missed out... 3. Burlington 1819. Have just a bit of experience with this one, now I can properly take it on a test drive! 4. Elysium EDP. This one intrgues me. I had completely disliked Elysium eau intense as it was way too grassy for me, so never lookd in the EDPs or Parfums direction. They're so different, and EDP is seemingly excellent to my nose. I'm probably resting this one first. I feel these will kickstart my full-on dive into Roja. Again, thank you so much Mark, I will without a doubt enjoy these very much!

Fragrance haul of the Century?!?!
Could this be the “fragrance haul” of the Century? Not because of the number of fragrances, but for the price! So about 2 weeks ago a guy at work said “man you always smell good!” What would you recommend for me? I only have Acqua Di Gio and D&G Light Blue but I want some more. So of course I told him about fragrance discounters and he asked me to some to his cart that I would recommend. I added 5 and he bought 3. He bought Creed Silver Mountain Water, JPG Le Beau Le Parfum and Paco Rabanne 1 Million. I was trying to think of mass appeal and ease him into niche with the Creed. So this guy comes in today and says “man I don’t really like any of them, since you like them would you want to buy them off of me?” I asked what he was looking to get out of them and I was stunned by his answer. He said to give him $80 and come pick them up. So I said you want $80 each or $80 for all of them? $80 for all of them! That is absolutely insane to me and I gave him the $80 before he had a chance to change his mind! 😁 this has to be the best buy ive ever ran across!
