Brothers, I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts on supporting the Brotherhood of Scent through a Premium or VIP membership. For many of us, finding a group of truly like-minded fragrance enthusiasts locally is almost impossible. Most of the time, this passion is something we enjoy in isolation—testing, learning, forming opinions, and having no real outlet to share those experiences. This brotherhood changes that. It gives us a space where our thoughts, ideas, and perspectives are not only welcomed, but respected. I fully understand that not everyone is in a position to upgrade, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Everyone’s situation is different. But for those of us who are able, I believe upgrading is a meaningful way to support something genuinely special—a community built on shared passion, mutual respect, and encouragement. Although I am new to the Brotherhood of Scent, I have deep roots in the Masonic Brotherhood. From that experience, I understand how rare it is for men to find a space where like-minded views are supported, where growth is encouraged, and where brotherhood is more than just a word. That same spirit exists here. Every opinion is treated as equal. Every voice is heard. Every member is welcomed and supported. That’s what makes this a true brotherhood. I want to see this community continue to grow and flourish. Supporting it—when possible—is one way to help ensure that it does. If you can afford to upgrade, I encourage you to do so. If you cannot, that’s perfectly okay as well. At the end of the day, we are all here to learn from one another, to share our experiences, and to support each other as brothers. Yesterday I wore Precieux 1 as I hadn't used it in over 5 months. This one has a strong projection for me lasting 3+ hours. The opening is a spicy, citrus combination that smells super manly. After that it becomes a heavily woody and somewhat floral scent with the spiciness always present to my nose. Throughout the wear spicy somewhat smoky notes combined with musk are what I pickup on. Lasts easy 10+ hours for me Overall this is now a like not a love for me. The small 55ml size, quirky bottle that easily tips and relatively high price per ml count against it Rating 7.5 out of 10. Today I wore Xerjoff Naxos. Sweet honey mixed with a slight tobacco hint and lavender. Moderate/Strong projection 3+ hours. Noticeable sillage another 5-6 hours. Nice scent bubble for at least 4+ hours. 4 sprays is good more than that it is quite noticeable. Already received 2 compliments today. This can be a signature scent, office wear, or formal/date night fragrance. Smells of high quality and extremely classy. To think my 1st wear experience was disappointing due to predominant lavender/old school feel Rating now a 9.8 out of 10.
