Frag haul! Two delightful Rayhaans
As we head into the summer months, I needed to round out my warm weather collection with a few grab and go cheapies. Sampled both of these outstanding Rayhaans and just knew I had to pull the trigger. - Adonis Icarus: Juicy, super delicious orange. I get a touch of woodiness and light musk in the dry down, mostly this is just a citrus bomb. Unless I’m going nose blind, I get about two hours of very good projection, two hours of soft projection, then it’s a delicious skin scent for a few more hours. This scent just makes me happy. I’ve got a decant of afternoon swim — I haven’t worn them side-by-side, but this is definitely very close to it. And it’s got a magnetic cap! Impressive value for the 30 bucks I spent on it - Aquatica: tangy, lightly musky delicious lime pina colada. I’m still getting to know this one, but I really like it. I’ve never sampled virgin Island water, but I hear this is a close inspiration of that one. I threw some on last night before bed and I could still smell it on me this morning as light skin scent, but I couldn’t tell you yet how long the projection lasts. But this one is also super delicious.

Comparing Discounters
So I have been a very loyal customer to Jomashop but I placed an order and they kept giving me the “1-2” weeks repeatedly and this was… WAS for my wifes birthday. I cancelled the order and quite frankly got attitude from the customer service rep. This was also after numerous chat attempts and email requests for information that went nowhere. The oddest part was they always claim to not charge you until it ships and they did. So I went over to FragranceX and ordered it. Well apparently its already being shipped. So my question for you all is; what is your experience with FragranceX vs Jomashop and what stories or experiences from each would you share to persuade or dissuade someone either way? Also is there another discounter you would like to recommend…

Jomashop is inconsistent - I’ve had stuff showing as “1-2 weeks” ship almost immediately, and stuff showing “in stock” take a week to go out. It will get there in the end though so unless you need it in hand, it’s a good option. For comparison, every single purchase I’ve had from olfactory and aura were in my hands within 5 days of placing the order…
BOS Weekly Member Shoutouts 👏
Brothers, here are a few standout posts from the BOS community this week. 1. @Tim Nicklis — Least Favorite Fragrance in Your Collection 😬💨 Tim asked the question nobody wants to answer but everyone has an opinion on: what's your LEAST favorite scent? The thread exploded with blind-buy regrets, "loved it in the store, hated it at home" stories, and honest takes on what sits collecting dust. A must-read for anyone building a collection — learn from the community's misses: https://www.skool.com/bos/least-favorite-fragrance-in-your-collection 2. @Michael LoCascio Sr — The Hawas Rat Race Is Getting Insane 🏁 Michael's been collecting Rasasi Hawas flankers from the beginning — he's got 7 on the shelf — but the release pace is getting wild. The thread turned into a great debate about which flankers are actually worth it. If you're feeling the flanker fatigue, you're not alone: https://www.skool.com/bos/the-hawas-rat-race-is-getting-insane 3. @Lon Chaneyfield — Growth Within the Fragrance World 🌱 Lon dropped some real wisdom: too many collectors stay in the same lane, buying the same profiles, chasing the same trends. Growth means exploring. The thread sparked thoughtful discussion about evolving taste and stepping outside comfort zones. Read and reflect: https://www.skool.com/bos/growth-within-the-fragrance-world 4. @Nick Clemente — Frag Haul! Exploring the House of Zaharoff 🧳 Nick went deep on Zaharoff and shared his haul with the community. Brand discovery posts like this are how we all find our next signature scent. Thanks for the shoutout! It’s been fun diving into the house of Zaharoff, I’ve found some winners and already purchased a full bottle
My first Zaharoff!
I recently tested 14 offerings from Zaharoff (they offer very economically priced 3ml samples that make it easy to really get to know the house) and Seraphim Blue stood out as a fantastic summer freshie with a relatively unique take on the blue category, so I decided to go for a bottle. Looking forward to wearing this in the warm weather! I’ve got my eye on the new Gusto Limone and will keep testing a few others that I really liked (Tabac and Signature Royale) vs some new samples that I picked up with my order (eg Royale X, Signature Extreme, Signature Noire, Seraphim Red) to see if any of those are full bottle worthy for my collection. If you haven’t gotten your nose on anything from this house, I highly recommend it that you try them out
