The rumor mill (or is it the marketing machine…?) is spinning up about an upcoming collab between Cal Cologne and Maison Asrar for one of his favorites, the private line YSL 6 Place. I recently got a decant of YSL 6 and enjoyed it a lot, but performance is relatively weak and the price tag is hard to justify. Maison Asrar did a pretty good job with their recent Blonde Amber dupe so I bet they’d nail a YSL 6 dupe. What do y’all think, would you try it?

With his restock he’s teasing candles. Interesting…. He’s all in on the Noir line. They could be quite heavy. What say you gents? Are you a candle burning gent? What are your favorites?

Looks like Fragrantica updated their user interface. What do y’all think of the new layout? I think I prefer the old one, even if it looked dated. It’s like when Apple “helpfully“ forces an iPhone iOS update that makes my phone run slower and has weird new display settings.
