First official wear of Intense Cedrat Boise and decided to layer with the OG. Leather and oud notes Intense Cedrat Boise were prominent from the go and combined great with citrus, fruity opening of Cedrat Boise. Projection was very good for the first 3 hours and received a couple of compliments. Feel this combo amplifies each fragrances strong suits and masks their deficiencies. Sweetness is complimented by a darker vibe. Performance is very good as the sillage was good into hour 9. Even 12 hours after the initial application this is still giving me nice whiffs in the air. Either fragrance alone is good, combined they are great IMO. Rating: Cedrat Boise 9.5/10 Intense Cedrat Boise 9.25/10 Intense Cedrat Boise + Cedrat Boise 10/10 I'm very happy with this combination.

Last month I drew a blank. A co worker was wanting a bottle of 9am Dive. He was quoted a stupid figure at the mall and I said let me get it from place I frequent. I went by on Monday and was greeted warmly as usual. Told the head honcho what I wanted and she gave me the last bottle in stock. Was asked if I wanted anything else and I replied Marwa Extrait. Stated it would be in on Thursday. I was really excited to go by today and ended up bringing home: Marwa Extrait Dior Fahrenheit Parfum D&G Light Blue Eau Intense Mancera Instant Crush Look forward to getting all these on skin.

I have hesitated to post much in BOS because I thought I didn’t really have much of a collection but then I realized I actually really do. So this post is as much about my SOTD as it is about my SOTC. My SOTD is Tom Ford Hombre Leather. I can’t really describe it well but to say that to me it has a very distinct and, for lack of a better word, masculine smell, meaning not flowery or citrusy, but I’d be lying if I said anything else. Now, regarding the SOTC, I have 16 different travel sprays (more than samplers but less than an actual bottle) which I always get when they are discounted except the Mission Fragrances on the very left, Commitment, Honor, and Courage. Those were my first forage into fragrances and remain my favorites. Honestly I owe a shout out to @Renato Carotti because of his Decant Supplier Reviews where he has provided an idea of where to purchase a small quantity to sample different fragrances. If but for him, I would not smell so good! Thanks Renato, my wife appreciates you!

Took another big step into the niche space today for my birthday. We visited SCENT MASTERS in Lancaster, pa. I added some oud to the line up with Maison Francis Kurkdijan Oud and the was shown something completely different from what I went looking for for and bought d’annam through the forest. The dannam has a ton of incense and is strong but in a soft manageable way.
