Girlfriend birthday’s treat.
Today is my girlfriend’s birthday, she wanted to take the day off, go shopping and playing IKEA bingo. I chose Layette’s Street because it’s one of her favorite scents on me. I have very few Bon No.9 fragrances in my collection because they usually smell bad on my skin, except for this one. Lafayette’s Street exudes a delightful aroma, reminiscent of biting into a crisp, sweet apple. As it melts, it transitions into creamy vanilla and warm amber, leaving behind a smooth, woody warmth that envelops you in a comforting embrace. This modern scent is both captivating and hard to resist. You can get an affordable short lived version called Sculpture Homme Nikos or a long lasting less refined Jo Milano Game Of Spades Wildcard. But me I am sticking to my Bon.9 and fragrantbodyoilz roller.

SOTD: Voyage D’Hermes Parfum
Blind bought this one purely because I hadn’t heard to much about it and it was a pretty good deal. It’s a different take on a spring fragrance. It starts out spicy and aromatic with a hint of lemon then transitions to a nice tea scent with a lot of greenness and some rose. The base isn’t anything groundbreaking either sandalwood and amber. It’s definitely nice. Longevity is less than stellar for a Parfum as I got about 6.5 hours out of it. Projection was just okay at about 1-2 feet.

TOP NOTES: citrus, lavender, fresh spice. HEART NOTE: violet, iris, floral. BASE NOTE: woody, musky. MAIN CHORDS: citrus, powdery, aromatic, woody, fresh spicy, lavender, iris, roses, musky, floral.
