Since @Lon Chaneyfield has been doing his fantastic comparisons of the different clone types, I decided to lean in with a little Montagne love myself. I'm going with one of their Aventus versions today. This one has been a huge compliment magnet for me. I've received raves about it 14 hours after applying it. Try that with Aventus. Is this one 80 percent of Aventus? Or 98 percent? TBH, I'm not concerned about that. Yes, I consider it pretty dang accurate, but I like it for exactly what it is. I'm perfectly happy with it. I'm about halfway through my bottle and expect I'll be reordering before the summer is over. On another Montagne note, I just got an email that my bottle of their version of Imagination just arrived. I've never tried Imagination, but have heard so much I'm sure I'll like it. So when I can get a 5 ml LV sample or a 50 ml bottle for the same price, I'm rolling the dice with Montagne.

Since I've been on the topic of fig notes lately. I was looking through my decants and remembered that I'd picked this up and never worn it. It's quite pleasant. A creamy, green fig and coconut scent with and almost gourmand feel with the vanilla. A bit loud at first and even though I feel like I can pull it off. It definitely smells suitable for someone half my age. My nephews would probably love it.
