After several samples and sprays in Norman Marcus and Dilliards And after recommendations from @Ben E and @Will Southard and a great compliment by my past Neiman Marcus Rep who now works for Creed at the same location Fragrancenet 137.00 won the battle!!!

I've been meaning to try this one for a while, and I was really hoping to like it. And this might be part of the issue that I may have built it up in my head to be more than it really is. For me Scandal is my lodestone for this house as it was one of the first five fragrances I ever purchased and I wore it quite a bit. So any time I smell the sweet note from JPG fragrances It gets compared to Scandal to my nose. This was really apparent as soon as I sprayed this one where the sweetness really did feel similar but not as good, in the mid and dry down. It gets a little bit more interesting but again, nothing exciting. It doesn't even have the potency that Scandal does off my skin which really pushes. Notes: Cardemon lavender Iris Vanilla Overall this one is safe to wear, and relatively Mass appealing but nothing exciting to my nose. The cardamom is hardly there, the vanilla is synthetic and sweet and the iris is not really there in the way I like Iris, just sort of gives it a bit of a powdery sheen. I will give this one another wear since I still have about half the sample left, but I have many fragrances in my collection that do these notes better and definitely would reach to first. Including Scandal I did get a couple of compliments from my wife so who knows. Maybe the next time it will sparkle. But this time it failed to ignite any excitement or interest.
